Our lake front home is awaiting your arrival! Tucked away on a dead end street in the quietest area of this picturesque lake, you'll have all the comforts of home, but feel like you are on vacation.

Open concept living room/kitchen, includes breakfast bar, full sized stainless steel appliances, sofa sleeper, electric fireplace, 55-inch Smart TV, and a panoramic view of Beaver Dam Lake!

Kitchen comes with dishes/glassware, cookware, utensils, blender, coffee maker, toaster, etc.

Bathroom is stocked with towels and hair dryer.

3 Bedrooms: Each bedroom comes with bedding, nightstands & closet
- Master Bedroom: Queen Bed
- Second Bedroom: Two Full Beds
- Third Bedroom: Twin Daybed

Basement is set up with a second living room space, with two single futons, electric fireplace, 32-inch TV, DVD player, mini fridge and game area. There is also a sink and stand up shower, along with a washer and dryer.

Off of the living room, you step out onto your private deck, overlooking the lake.

Relaxing getaway

This place restored my friend and I! It was simply delightful being able to sit outside on the deck in nature looking at the lake and sunsets. With all the windows, we could be inside and see the magnificent views! Beds were comfy and we had everything we needed for a quick relaxing getaway to rejuvenate ourselves! I highly recommend and definitely will be keeping this on my favorites list!

What a delightful place!

I loved my stay in this home. It is a very well-designed home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a great kitchen, comfortable beds (firm as others have pointed out, but very comfortable), and a wonderful deck overlooking the quiet lake. I enjoyed both the quiet sunrises and the spectacular sunsets on the deck and loved watching groups of white pelicans as well as the usual ducks and birds for that area. One evening I had the fun of watching a glorious 3-hour thunderstorm over the lake ... a very special experience. I had a lot of work to do on my computer, so I enjoyed both the table on the back deck and the view from inside the living room when it was too cool or windy to be out on the deck. The Internet connection was definitely strong enough for streaming movies and hosting five Zooms during my stay, including one Zoom where I was showing video clips to the others. When I did need to contact the owner, his response was very quick and very helpful. I very much enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back next time I'm in that part of Wisconsin. (BTW Several earlier reviews commented on the smell and taste of the tap water. Perhaps something has changed about the water. I have a very sensitive nose but noticed no sulphur smell, and the water tasted fine.)

Annual Fishing Trip

Another great stay. Owners are very responsive. House is cozy. Great fishing spot. Cant complain. Couldn't really ask for more. Will be back next year. Assuming they’ll have us again of course. Need to bring the kids and the boat one summer.

Peaceful retreat

My sister and I enjoyed peaceful mornings on the dock watching the jumping fish. The house provided what we needed. We were so grateful for a weekend away, thank you.

Awesome place to get away and still close to home

This home was perfect for us. Plenty of space to spread out and very comfortable. I was a little worried that the air conditioner wouldn't keep up, but when we arrived I realized it was a new mini-split rather than a window unit and it kept us very comfortable on the hot weekend we were there. It's on a quiet part of the lake, so there was almost no boat traffic, and the outdoor space was perfect for enjoying the sunset, fishing from the pier, or whatever. Would definitely recommend.

Great little house with a beautiful view. Only thing that would have made it better was an additional bathroom and stronger AC unit! But the views made up for it!

Fun family getaway

We had a great time at the lake house! The house was very accommodating for our family of 4. The house was filled with everything we could possibly need. We loved taking the kayaks out and having campfires. It was a great vacation!

Wonderful trip for us! Bryan and Melissa's lakehouse was sooo comfortable and had everything we needed and more! Comfy beds, stocked kitchen and great location! Communication was very good. Will definitely stay here again!

Fishing Trip

We had a good time. Caught many catfish. The coffee maker didn't produce hot coffee. They frying pans need replacing. During the 2nd day of our stay, while we were in the house, a bag was delivered and left in the garage. This was creepy, as the same code opened all doors. A text or phone call would have been a relief! I feel that this rental needs some things replaced, sofa and wicker chair with No cushions, for example.

Great lakefront property!

We wanted a long weekend getaway with our family, before they all head off to different parts across the country. The view was spectacular! A nice lake to kayak and float in the water. We used the fire pit at night and had a great time playing foosball.

Friends and family!

I came down to Beaver Dam to connect with friends and family. I grew up in the area. It was a wonderfully relaxing weekend. Had a nice cookout.. lots of laughter and memories made. The view of the water... Awesome.

Heavenly lake views

Sunsets take your breath away! 3 of the 4 of us are 60+ yrs old. The sitting area in the living room offers minimal comfortable seating. Bedrooms are very nice. Wonderfully stocked kitchen.

Lake weekend

There were issues using the tv, which required a remote app I needed to purchase in order to use the tv. Communication with the host prior to our stay were timely, but during our actual stay, no one responded to messages. The home was clean, spacious, and quiet.

Good place and quiet, 15min from beaver dam which has great bars. Everyone around town was friendly. Go check out Zigs lakeside pub great place to eat and right down the road

GREAT STAY! GREAT PEOPLE!

This place is great. We enjoyed our time very much. The property and the house is neat and clean. The contact, who I believe is the owner, was more than fantastic. Almost immediate responses. Couldn’t ask for more. We killed it fishing!!! 30+ eyes in 2 days ice fishing. Just got right out back!! 100 yards straight back!! Thanks again. Your place was awesome.

So peaceful!

This was our third stay at this home. Perfect size & location for our group of girls coming from different parts of the state. Close to grocery if needed. Public boat launch available. Lots of cooking pots & utensils. Didn’t need to bring anything. We’ll be back in spring!

My husband Bryan and I met in 2005 in Milwaukee, WI and a vacation on the lake has always been a constant. For as long as I can remember, my husband always knew he wanted a lake house, and we worked really hard to make that a reality! The thing we are most excited about is being able to share this place with our family and friends (especially our Daughter, Harper). There is something about a simple vacation on the lake that makes for some of the best memories. We sincerely hope you enjoy this labor of love as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

We both fell in love with the quiet and relaxation this house provides, while still being close to all of the amenities you need day to day. With our work schedules, we longed for a place for us to escape to, without being hours away. It is so wonderful being able to come up to Hickory Point for a "time out" from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

What makes this property unique

Hickory Point Rd is set on one of the quietest parts of the lake, but only 15 minutes from Downtown Beaver Dam.

Set on 75 feet of private lake frontage.
