Spread over 2 floors, this diminutive 12th-century townhouse has been carefully renovated, keeping the original character using natural materials with some individual decorative touches.
The outer walls of this house are stone build and more than one meter thick. The roof was restored like in the old times using ecological materials ( Ceramic layers, Stone and wood ) keeping the climate inside of the house comfortable even during summer. No air condition is therefore needed.
In the first-floor you find a small living room with a small seating area, from where you can reach the roof top veranda with a breath-taking view of the Aegean Sea and the islands monastery. In days with good view you may see Sifnos , Paros and Anti-Paros.
The 2 seperate bedrooms are both located in the first floor. They are accessible from the inside of the house threw an old stone staircase and also threw the outside stairways with a small balcony.
In the ground floor you find the kitchen area and an "open shower " with a small separate WC, which was carefully integrated in this 800 year old house.
Please be aware that this house is 800 years old and that the available space for WC and shower as well as the ancient stairway connecting the ground floor with the first floor are of massive stone, reflecting the architecture of that period, which make the difference to a new built house.
