Incredible view and incredible property!

Some friends and I stayed at The View over Memorial Day weekend. There was something for everyone to do and we had the absolute best time! The location is supreme. You can’t beat the views and are just north of the high traffic areas on the lake. The property was very clean and even more spacious than it looked in the pictures. I would stay again and highly recommend to others.

Family Trip

We enjoyed staying at the View. It offered plenty of space for our large family. The kids enjoyed jumping off the dock and floats and other items were provided. The board games also can in handy with an unexpected storm.

Best of Memories with Today

Memories of having a lake house. Yesterday. With our kids of today. Future. The house is so interesting and beautiful. It accommodated our group of 10 perfectly! Teens through octogenarians, we had the best stay. Plenty of towels!

Family Time

We had a very memorable time. This was perfect for mothers 63rd birthday.

Perfect…the VIEW WAS BEAUTIFUL…weather wasn’t perfect but the house was. ThankS Scott for opening your home to us, we will be back. We are actually already planning for thanksgiving.

A Relaxing, Beautiful View, with everything you need at your fingertips.

The owner was more than accommodating. My question and concerns were addressed quickly. Check in & Check out was simple!! The house and boat house are beyond stocked! We definitely enjoyed our stay! The only questionable concern was the drive way into the property. You don't use the one that is at that address. You go up to the very next drive. ( but definitely not something that was a big deal ) If the opportunity arises we will definitely stay again!

Most relaxing vacation we ever had.

We really enjoyed our stay the house is beautiful well stocked with everything you could need on vacation. It was the most relaxing vacation we ever had. The lake is beautiful and not over crowded. Great time we will definitely be back.

Fun family time at the lake!

Very nice, clean, well stocked. Everything was perfect! The fact that there was no railing on the outside of the staircase was a matter of concern, especially with the young ones. Thank you for a wonderful family time!

Outstanding views

We stayed here for my sons wedding. Home was very clean, with lots of room. It was the perfect place and we made so many special memories. The view of the lake is absolutely beautiful. The only negatives were it is quite a long and curvy drive to town and the driveway is extremely steep.

Excellent Rental

Incredible view! We had 10 of our family members stay and the house accommodated us all. The kitchen is well stocked and every bed was very comfortable. The property manager is kind and was quick to respond. And did I mention the gorgeous view?! We are talking about our next trip back to this beautiful house.

Perfect Lake Getaway!

Amazing views

Views were worth the drive from the living room to kitchen and dock. Very spacious home. We had a great time skiing, exploring the lake and the marina restaurant. Very quiet and peaceful area to relax.

Perfect for a Family Getaway!

This is beautiful property. Did not have any trouble finding it. The Driveway is a little steep but other than that the home and the garage apartment was beautiful and worked out great for our family. Everything was there you needed, just bring your food and drinks. The kids loved the water. Not too many steps down to the dock. We rented a pontoon for one day and got to go out on the lake so everything was just perfect..Thanks to the Fords, for having us...We will be back.

Perfect!

Needed a short little getaway for immediate family & this was perfect! The views and house were spectacular. It was a much needed family trip that everyone enjoyed with plenty of room for all of us to spread out. Scott answered all of our questions in a timely and professional manner & Sherry and her crew were fabulous (even though we messed up on check in & check out times!) We’ll be making a trip back & can’t wait! I will say, make sure to follow the directions the owner gives on getting there! Otherwise, it could be a bumpy ride! Some of our family went the wrong way & down the wrong driveway and it made for an eventful drive.

The ratings don't lie...

The View is all that and more. Before booking, I read the reviews skeptically, and after staying here, I affirm they are true! The property is perfectly situated on the peninsula to appreciate both sunrise and sunset, not to mention an exquisite, unpolluted view of the stars from the dock. It's about an hour's drive from Birmingham, and an hour and forty minutes from Auburn; the experience of driving down the driveway is a bit harrowing in a sedan...best to drive past the drieveway for The View and access through the Ford's driveway on the left. The house itself provides plenty of space for gathering in large groups as well as squirreling away to nap or read. Not only is the host very responsive with communications, he has insured that the property is stocked with most everything you need for a relaxing stay: coffee-stocked; charcoal-stocked; life-jackets and floats-stocked; bug spray and sunscreen-yep; extra fridge for drinks-yep; extra blankets, towels, sheets, beach towels, garbage bags, coffee filters-all there. Reluctantly I share that this stay is top-notch because our family will definitely be renting again...as long as it isn't booked! Thank you Scott for such a wonderful birthday weekend at The View.

Graduation Get Away

We absolutely loved our stay here! Family from several states came together to celebrate the college graduate. A very relaxing, quiet neighborhood and beautiful lake to spend quality time. The house was very clean and well suited for our group. The kitchen is open and full of natural light. And of course the views are amazing! Scott was quick to respond with all questions. The driveway is steep but doable. Stores aren't right around the corner so we brought everything with us and it worked out really well.
