JUST IMAGINE...A Memorable Family and Friends Getaway!

Perfect location between the golf course and marina! Plus, 150’ of lake frontage, great pier, screened in dock with fans and comfortable seating. Get away from stress for awhile; enjoy nature, read a book, sip lemonade, catch a fish, make great memories - what are you waiting on?

2,000 sf of interior living space; open floor plan with adjoining screened porch and open air patio makes for great memories. The two-car garage opens into the mud room/laundry room.

The master bedroom is large with a king size bed and lake view. The ensuite bathroom has a separate shower, soaking tub, private toilet area and large walk-in closet.

The 2nd bedroom has a king size bed and the 3rd bedroom has bunk-beds, both rooms with a view of the golf course and incredible sunrise. We also have a queen sofa sleeper and twin ottoman sleeper in the living room.

We have a great kitchen with double ovens, gas cooktop, microwave, dishwasher and a large walk-in pantry. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook, bake, grill and eat! There is an adjoining wet bar with ice maker. The dining area and screened in porch has total seating for 12. The kitchen, dining and wet bar area all has a lake view.

The living room provides comfortable seating and includes Satellite TV, DVD Player and a beautiful view of the lake.

The deck adjoining the pier/boathouse includes a custom built picnic table for ten and a charcoal grill.

The pier with boathouse (1 slip for bass boat and one slip for a pontoon boat) includes a mini fridge, fish cleaning area, open air cold water shower, swim area with stairs and a screened in dock for additional seating, eating and enjoying the beautiful sunsets.

Beautiful lake home

Beautifully remodeled home in a great location on the lake just across from the country club. Kids loved swimming off the dock. Great boat house for pontoon. Would definitely book again.

Great get away home!

This home is perfect for a get away vacation. It is loaded with character and charm. Very clean and accommodating. The view of the lake is awesome. The pier was great with a screen porch. Highly recommend this property.

Just Imagine Lake Bruin

The home is beautiful inside and out. The pier with screened in porch was so nice with a swing, a picnic table and rocking chairs. The landscaping is so nice. The host was very helpful and made the whole process easy and a pleasure to talk to. Would love to rent again sometime.

What can I say the house, yard and dock were perfect. Growing up we spent our vacation in St Jo with family (our Papa was a park ranger many years ago) We spent many days fishing and swimming at Lake Bruin. It was a wonderful stay at this house visiting cousins. We will be staying here hopefully in the future. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Peggy was the best host we’ve had so far with VRBO. Five star

An absolutely perfect place on Lake Bruin

This beautiful home was perfect for our weekend away on beautiful Lake Bruin. We have been staying on the lake for many years, but this place is by far the nicest, cleanest, comfortable home we have ever stayed in. The pier could not have been better. The location is also in an excellent area with a large yard.

Lake Bruin Get Together

Extremely pleased with the house. Very clean with all of the amenities available. Well landscaped. We made use of the screened in porch off the back of the house and the dock in addition to the sitting area near the pit. The house was perfect for our weekend.

Perfect Get Away!

The pictures truly do not do this place justice. It's more impressive in person. Breathtaking views of the lake and the fishing was great right off the pier. Mrs. Peggy the owner was so helpful and sweet. She was in contact with me before and during the trip. We will definitely stay in this location again.

Wonderful long weekend on Lake Bruin

From start to finish this is a first class operation. The house was spotless and and very comfortable. It has everything needed for cooking, also a bar with ice maker. The best part is the dock, with a screened in porch with fans, a large open area with lay out chairs, and steps to easily enter and exit the water. This is where we spent the majority of our time watching our older kids swim and letting the 15month old run around in the screened in porch. I don't think any thing could have been done better, this is truly a special place. We will definitely be back, its just a matter of when. Also wanted to mention Ms. Peggy was very accommodating and easy to work with. Hope to be back soon, Thanks for the wonderful time.

Great Family Getaway at Lake Bruin!

Peggy's property was top notch and impressed in every way! The house is beautiful and spacious so no one felt cramped, even with teenagers bunking up on the living room pull-outs. The deck is in great shape and has all the amenities you could ask for in a great location for swimming and enjoying the fabulous Lake Bruin sunsets. We will definitely be returning to this property in the future!

Fabulous house

A great Thanksgiving for our family

There are so many things to love about this property! Rather than feeling like you are in a rental, you feel like a guest in a friend's home. The house and grounds are immaculate and well-appointed. Supplies are plentiful - extra towels, linens, pillows, paper products, cleaning products, and toiletries. The well-equipped kitchen provided us with everything we needed to cook all week. The screened-in porch was a roomy and delightful place to relax, eat, read, or play. The spacious pier was a great place to fish, swing, and sit while enjoying the day and the beautiful sunsets, and we could retreat to the well-lit screened area when the bugs came out at night. Best of all, the owner was very attentive and generous, answering our questions before the trip and going out of her way to make sure our stay was perfect. This is a perfect choice if you are looking for a peaceful, fun, relaxing getaway.

Beautiful well-appointed home on lovely Lake Bruin! The kitchen is well equipped, open and spacious. We cooked several meals a day! The screened in back porch was a wonderful place to relax and drink coffee in the morning. The pier is fantastic with a screened in area, as well. The yard is also lovely and well maintained. Everything about this home and our stay was just perfect!

Perfect weekend!

This Lake Bruin property was ideal for our family! My kids loved jumping off the dock, swimming in the lake and fishing off the pier! The screened in patio was perfect for morning coffee. The house has all the luxuries of home- kitchen well stocked, bed linens comfortable and everything was in impeccable shape- very well cared for. The home owners are very thoughtful and communicated with us to ensure an enjoyable stay. It was a perfect lake weekend! We hated to leave! Highly recommended!!

After retiring from the insurance business after 46 years, I prayed about my next venture in life and through a friend visited her property on Lake Bruin. Well, I fell in love with the lake, of course, but also the people.

I have spent most of 2017 furnishing and decorating our lake house and just enjoying being there with family and friends.

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with this property because it’s located across from the golf course and the picture of the rainbow was taken from our front yard. I’m from a large family that loves to fish, boat, cook and eat and this was just the perfect place for us.
