About this property

Discovery Bay Deep water home near launch and marina.

Not your typical vacation home. 2bd 2ba single level duet on Marlin Dr. Totally remodeled this home featuring quartz counters, stainless steel appliances, central A/C, spacious deck and dock . You can side tie to the 36ft dock. Side yard features putting green, outdoor TV, Lynx BBQ, 3 kayaks newer and clean patio furniture with a 10 minutes' drive to fast water. No kidding!!!
You can even paddle or boat over to the Chandlery or the Boardwalk for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Steak House is just minutes away by car also. This home offers a terrific water and hill view, but not the hot westerly sun. All cookware, towels, sheets, etc included. Wi fi internet and Xfinity TV too! Come and enjoy the Discovery Bay life. We did and that is why we bought. NOTE: this home is not your typical rental. We would appreciate it if you would take care of it like your own. We look forward to seeing you!!
NOTE: When securing a date please expect to return a short application and copy of your ID or driver's license within 72 hours. Additionally, we have a Nest doorbell and Nest rear camera facing the deck/dock. Please be aware this camera is not monitored but it does record for liability purposes.

A Gem in Discovery Bay

This is our second time renting this home and it doesn't disappoint! The location (including incredible sunsets) is the best, especially if you have a boat. Close to the marina, excellent dock on the property. The house is stocked with everything including water toys. We were celebrating Father's Day and it was a perfect stay. Thank you for sharing your home!

Beautifully updated with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Close to marina and “fast water.” Peter was very responsive with any questions or needs. Will definitely come again.

Beautiful Home, GREAT Time

This was our second visit - and we can't wait to return. The home is gorgeous; both elegant and comfortable with every imaginable amenity (both inside AND in the deck, yard and water areas!) We can't rate it highly enough. Sunsets are gorgeous too. A perfect getaway if you want to relax and enjoy life!

A Remarkable Home!

My husband and I have stayed in dozens of vacation homes since retiring 12 years ago; but this, by far, was our BEST experience to-date. The home is elegant & tasteful with plush amenities, but also very inviting and comfortable. My husband loved fishing from the dock (the dock & deck are of the finest quality). And I enjoyed the extraordinary sunsets over the water each evening - and the neighborhood, which is lovely & quiet. (It was also nice to have a full service shopping center just up the road!) The photo array can't begin to capture the charm of this property. There's a sense of peace throughout. Perfect place to relax and get away. To quote my husband: "This was a little slice of heaven, right here on earth!" We can't wait to return, and wish we could give it more than 5 stars!

Discovery Bay Treasure.

Beautiful house on the water with glorious views and a generous host. The best equipped house we have ever had and we have rented many in the USA and abroad. For what we paid, it’s an excellent value.

Beautiful getaway in Discovery Bay!

We spent three days at this wonderful home in Discovery Bay. The view from the deck was outstanding and inside the house was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great area for walking and very nearby the Marina Bar and Grill. Would definitely like to visit again! Cindy H

Peace and quiet

My co-worker from Switzerland and I enjoed staying at this home while on our month long work trip . Too bad it was in yhe winter because the putside area and amenities for the lake would have been awesome to enjoy. It was just too cold. The house was perfect in all ways. It allowed us to have our own space and cooking ability unlike a hotel would have. The hosts were very quick with answering any questions. The only thing i would recommend to the owners is maybe think about tvs in the rooms . Not a complaint just a feature upgrade. Cheers

Discovery Gem

This was our 2nd stay at the property. Peter is very easy to work with. The property is well equipped and organized as well as clean. Our grandkids who live in the neighborhood enjoyed visiting and using the putting area. We look forward to future visits when visiting family.

Great place

The pictures of this property are accurate but don’t do justice to the beautiful views each morning and evening. It was extremely clean and well furnished. Peter was always very prompt with communication, and the location is ideal. Away from all the traffic, but convenient to stores and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again!

The pictures do not do this condo justice. Clean, comfortable, well stocked. Beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Owners very accommodating and fast to respond. Security deposit refunded within 2days.

We had another lovely time at this wonderful slice of heaven on the water. Well maintained home. Comfy beds! Beautiful views. Great fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding! Peter, one of the owners, is very easy to communicate with. Checking in and out was a breeze! Can’t wait to return!

An oasis in the Bay area

I had never heard of Discovery Bay until I started looking for places close to Brentwood where my son was getting married. I found out that two couples could stay here for less than two hotel rooms in Brentwood. This place did not disappoint. Nothing like waking up and having coffee on the deck overlooking the water. Had fun kayaking and paddle boarding too. Very clean house. Highly recommend!

Disco Bay

The three of us had a blast! Lots of paddle boarding, kayaking and fishing! Beautiful and comfortable home on the water. House was well stocked and owners are very nice and responsive! This was our second visit and we will be back again for more fun in the sun!

Perfect spot for a getaway

My husband and I wanted a little getaway that was a short drive from home and near the water. This place delivered! The accommodations were perfect! We were right on the water with a great view, in a comfortable home that had everything we needed and more. Peter was readily accessible for any questions we had. Small but low maintenance, with lg deck and dock. Easy location to enter and exit Discovery Bay.

Why rent this property? Most of your day is spend outdoors. Why pay for a big home when all you mostly do is sleep in it. Here you can do that, play outdoors and pay less. Plus its a nice clean and modern home. Great for a home base when looking to travel to Yosemite, the Napa and Livermore wine areas, the sierra mountains etc.
