A genuine, two-story log cabin nestled on 45 acres of private property adjacent to not only 400 acres of public wilderness, but also sits next to a tributary of Fort Gibson Lake. The cabin is located 1/2 mile from a country road making it very quiet and tranquil. The backyard features a large rock fire-ring with a grill that can be used for a campfire, or you can use the grill for an old-fashioned cookout. A charcoal grill is also available, along with a hammock to watch hummingbirds when it's warm or occasional Bald Eagles that are common in the area. A set of horseshoes and corn-hole are ready to use. An archery target is set up if you bring a bow and, for nature lovers, an easy 1/2-mile walking trail is next to cabin. Master bedroom is upstairs with a queen-size bed that features a balcony overlooking the backyard. The two lower rooms have twin beds. One of them has a set of bunk beds with a single twin. We have a smart TV in the living room next to a gas fireplace that is ready to use. There is also a smart TV in the upstairs sitting room. The kitchen comes complete with a refrigerator, stove, two ovens, microwave, toaster oven and dishwasher. A washer and dryer are also available.
There is a fee of $12 per dog/per night. If you would like to bring more than one dog, please let us know at the time of booking as we'll need to send a separate request for the additional fee. In addition, please bring a crate for your dogs and crate them in your absence from the cabin and do not allow the dogs on furniture or beds. If these rules are not followed, there will be an additional $200 charge added to your reservation.
