About this property

With all the comforts of home and the amenities of a beach house, Bella Luna is the perfect vacation destination. Three floors, five bedrooms, and plenty of outdoor living space provide enough room for groups of all sizes to relax. The home’s multiple balconies overlook a private pool and are perfect for enjoying views of the neighborhood’s lake. Or, soak up some rays and enjoy the beach during your stay as the community beach is just a short walk from your vacation home.

The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a flat-top stove, and deep double sinks. This kitchen is well stocked with the dishes and utensils you will need to feel at home. A marble-top breakfast table seats four and there is additional seating for two at the breakfast bar. A guest bedroom with a queen bed and a flat-screen TV is located on this floor. A guest bathroom that is centrally accessible from both the bedroom and living area complete the second floor. The couch in the living area also converts into a queen bed for larger groups.

A large tiled foyer leads to the first-floor guest bedroom. The bedroom has private access to the pool deck and has plenty of seating if you want to get out of the sun and relax around a flat-screen TV. There are twin over full bunk beds and a convertible sleeper sofa in the room. The laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer are located on this floor. Four sets of sliding glass doors open to the expansive lakeside balcony. The living area is comfortably arranged around a flat-screen TV. The adjoining dining area has seating for eight comfortably. The master bedroom is richly decorated and features a king bed, flat-screen TV, and private access to the third-floor balcony. A twin daybed provides an extra lounge or sleep space. The master bathroom has a double vanity, tub, and separate walk-in shower. Two additional guest bedrooms are located on this floor--one with a king bed and one with twin over full bunk beds. Both bedrooms have flat-screen TVs and share a hall bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

For the pool to be heated during your stay, we require at least 48 hour notice before your arrival to ensure the pool has time to reach the proper temperature of 88 degrees Fahrenheit. The pool heat charge is $50 per day of your reservation. This home is equipped with a gas based pool heater, which can operate as intended regardless of outdoor temperature.

Pretty good house, could use some small maintenance. Door Handles, cracked window, holes in wall from no doorstops, very hot pool water. Otherwise nice stay neighbors could use some outdoor up keep in the back by pool. Convenient location awesome quiet beach.

Great vacation!

This is one of the cleanest houses we have stayed in. Loved the pool and being close to the beach that we could walk. Took us a while to find where we were to go for the beach access as there was no sign or directions. We absolutely loved our stay, and would stay again!!

Great property

We had a group of friends come with us to Destin for my my husband's birthday and this property was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and there was plenty of room for everyone. The pool was a bit messy when we arrived due to recent storms and they had someone come to clean it asap, it was ready to go by the next morning when we woke up! Also, the washing machine was not working but communication was great with the host and they sent someone to look at it...ended up having to replace the machine. Other than those 2 small issues, everything was great and communication was quick and easy. Would definitely book again.

Not worth it.

For the price of this rental, we were very disappointed. We had COCKROACHES on two of the three floors. We were told by the rental company the home was just treated and we were therefore seeing increased activity. If that’s the case, the home should be closed for a period of time after treatment to ensure guests aren’t finding cockroaches in kitchens and bedrooms. The cable and Wi-Fi were out for our entire trip. We were reimbursed a small amount for the inconvenience, but it was still very frustrating. We had a house full of kiddos and it rained half of our trip. We were also not able to watch the ball drop celebration on New Year’s Eve. Furniture was outdated and the couches were badly stained. Again, for the price, we expected better quality. The pool was well-heated and there were plenty of towels, blankets and dishes. We appreciated the access to the grill and a small number of pool toys. Walk to the beach was short and convenient but we had to figure out everything on our own. Instructions were not great. In the future, we will look for somewhere else to rent.

Great stay!

We truly enjoyed staying at Bella Luna. I highly recommend this property and definitely plan to return. The checkin process was smooth. The staff was helpful. The house and community is beautiful and very well kept. It looks just like the pictures. Being in a gated community made us feel nice and safe. The house is about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The beach was breathtaking. The white sand was so clean and beautiful. I loved the privacy of the beach. Our family had our own little area to ourselves. There is a wagon in the garage with coolers, floats, and beach/pool toys for kids. We were a party of 4 adults and 4 children (one being a 1 year old) and we were nice and comfortable with plenty of space. The heated pool was amazing. It kept us nice and warm when it was cool and breezy. The wifi worked great. We were able to connect all of our devices including multiple Firesticks and a PlayStation. I also would like to add that the left sliding door at the bottom level leading to the pool could use some attention. It looks as if it will eventually come apart. We didn’t use it. We only used the right sliding door at the bottom level when going out to the pool.

Great time with family, 8-10 min walk to beach with small kids

We had a good time. You can tell it's corporate, it lacks the attention to details, for the price they had for each night. There were some issues throughout the house that needed attention fixing that I had to call about. When I did call, they were very responsive and quick to action. The pool was great, love that it was heated, worth the $50/day. Beach was an easy 8-9 minute walk through a gated community. The three levels the kids loved, the grandparents not so much, ha. Balcony doors had PVC pipes to keep shut instead of fixing the locks on them. Bunk bed upstairs was super wobbly and didn't trust putting my 6 and 4 year old in them even after the tighten the bolts up after I called. They had a beach cart that was awesome to travel with to bring to beach and all the towels, and rags inside was a plus to have on hand. Wish there were a bathroom downstairs where pool is so kids didn't have to dry off and then run all the way up to the next floor.

Bella Luna - Spring Break 2022

The size, layout, and location of the house was great for our big family. Really need a bathroom on the ground level, as this is where the pool is located. Furniture in main living area, specifically dining room and bar stools are wobbly and should probably be replaced. When we arrived the pool had not been cleaned and there were dust bunnies under the beds. When the pool heater and the dryer quit working, maintenance was there right away to fix. The pool is a nice size and the walking distance to beach is great! Overall a great house for us and we had a wonderful time!

Excellent property for big groups

The property was as beautiful as seen on the pictures, it was well maintained and clean. We couldn't get the pool heated as we were told it would take 24 hours to get the pool heated, otherwise it was an awesome experience, there is a lot of room for big groups.

Annual family vacation

My family goes on vacation together every year. This includes two sisters(husbands/kids) and our parents. The location of the house was great. It was just a short walk to the beach and since it’s in a community you get a private spot on the beach which is super important in Destin. The private pool was clean and a great size. The house itself was just ok. Most of the furnishings are getting old. Closet and bathroom doors don’t open properly. There was a huge stain in one of the rooms that the cleaning crew tried to get out from previous renters but it made the room smell moldy. There were lots of cracks in the tile, a rather large one on the stairs which was pretty unsafe. If they put some money to update the inside, this house would be amazing! We enjoyed the views of the lake during our morning coffee. It was so nice being able to walk to restaurants, candy store and ice cream.
