Very relaxing two-night stay

My husband and I rented this beautiful log home for two nights for a little rest and relaxation. House was well suited for our needs. We played games at the dining room table. We read magazines and watched the rain from the comfy couch in the main living area. We watched movies downstairs in the cozy second living space. We had two very comfortable nights of sleep in the upstairs king bed. We only ventured out one time to head to Osseo for lunch at the Norske Nook then antiquing at the Osseo Nickel. All in all, just what we were looking for. Thanks Kelli!

Amazing family weekend!

Beautiful Property

Booking with Kelli was such an easy process and she communicated with me so well, she always got back to me in a timely manner, and even left us with a bottle of wine & cute note. Our group of friends stayed here for memorial weekend and this has by far been our most favorite place to stay at!! The property was beautiful and we especially enjoyed the hot tub they had to offer! Everything we needed was provided! We shared so many laughs, meals, and memories here at the Rosewood Lodge. It was definitely a great stay!! Thank you so much to Kelli for sharing her beautiful cabin with us!!

Annual siblings weekend

Perfect set up for a chill weekend with the siblings. Games around the dining room table. Cocktails on the deck. Well stocked kitchen (especially for a VRBO). 3 levels to spread out. Beautiful landscape and views. Many little towns surrounding for a discovery day. Fun 9-hole golf course in nearby Whitehall. Just a good time at a very nice property.

A Fabulous Stay!

This house was fabulous for a weekend getaway with friends! It was extraordinarily clean and exactly as pictured. The host was easy to get in touch with and they provided wonderful little touches for us throughout the house. Check-in/out was super simple and having a driveway to park in was great. We're already talking about coming back again. Highly recommend!

Weekend getaway

My friends and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. It was a beautiful home and Kelli made it feel very homey. We enjoyed the gifts that supported the local businesses. I would definitely consider booking here again in the future!

Amazing House

The pictures don’t do it justice. This house is incredible. Plenty of space in this house. The hot tub is by far the best hot tub I have ever seen. Kitchen is fully loaded with all utensils. Only downside is there is no condiments or cooking supplies. So you need to bring everything if you plan on cooking. There is a fully stocked Kurig machine and a coffee pot for you own coffee.

Wonderful vacation

We had a wonderful vacation at Rosewood. Peaceful, secluded and beautiful. More space than two people needed but we loved it. Kitchen amenities were very nice for preparing dinners. Heated walking mat to the hot tub was just one of the many perks that made this place special.

Spectacular

Our group of 4 long-time couples stayed here. Kelli is just as thoughtful and attentive to detail as everyone says. There is absolutely nothing we can say negatively about our stay. Each couple had their own space, and with 3 full baths we didn't feel crowded at all. The kitchen had everything we needed but the highlight for us was the hot tub. Thank you for everything!

Girls Getaway

We had a wonderful stay! The property was better than described. A ton of space for our group to hang out and play card games. There was a fishing tournament, so lots of things going on in town. We found the antique shop to be a hidden gem and found a few things to bring home. We got lucky with great weather and the hot tub was so nice! Highly recommend!

Beautiful log home

The house is amazing, beautifully decorated , homey and comfortable! Spotless clean! Had anything we needed and then some .We spent a lot of time in the hot tub and loved the warm walkway to get to it! Awesome idea! Perfect for a group of friends who want to spend some time together catching up , being lazy and feeling pampered at the same time without having to spend a lot of time on the road ( we came from the twin cities). Kelli is very attentive and prompt with communication. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us.

GORGEOUS MOUNTAIN RETREAT IN THE CITY

Oh my gosh, you could not have told us we were in a city. It was so secluded and beautiful, but so easy to get to! The wine and chocolates that were left were so good, plus a little card!!! Kelli has really paid attention to the small details in the space and it's noticeable! 10/10 recommend more than a weekend, so you can take full advantage of the hottub.

We had a great time at this vacation home! Had all the cooking utensils and pans, crock pots we needed! Amazing hot tub! Only wish was there was an outdoor wood fire pit, in that beautiful setting would have been the cherry on top!

Beautiful Property

Such a beautiful space. Lots of comfortable places to sit and hang out. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the hot tub is luxurious with gorgeous views. The host was very responsive and communicative. The town of Independence does not have much to offer in the way of restaurants and bars. No shopping and lots of the places that they do have close at 5p on weekdays. This property is perfect if you bring all of your own food and drinks. The kitchen has everything you could need.

Hi, My name is Kelli Brandenburg - Brave and my husband is Mark. I have been a Flight Attendant for 31 years and work for Delta Airlines. So, YES! I love to travel and have been all over the world but still yearn to see more. Mark and I enjoy horseback riding and have 10 horses, 2 dogs, 2 cats plus many barn cats. We are strong community minded people and enjoy participating in community groups and helping others.

Why they chose this property

The ROSEWOOD LODGE is named after the street which was named after my deceased mother, ROSE. I designed this log home back in 2000 and it is accented with many items from my travels. I truly LOVE this home and hope you will too. Please enjoy this very special place.

What makes this property unique

Each room has a basic theme. The logs are 11 inch northern white pine. The log design is Swedish cope. Most of the furniture was custom made by a local Amish man. Many of the rugs I brought back from INDIA. The carved bears were created by a wood carver in northern WI. and he used one single 100 year old willow tree. The kitchen cabinets are maple and specially designed. Wishing you a wonderful stay.
