This spacious property joins Summerville Lake property. However, there's no direct access to the lake from the property. 2 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms, single rollaway bed, and a sofa bed. Property has plenty of floor space for air mattresses. A large deck with a grill and a fire pit.

Beautiful mountain getaway at the lake

The renovation they've done is very nice and enjoyable. Location is good. Upon arrival, we discovered that only one bed was made so we had to make the other up. The next day, when taking a shower, there was no soap in either of the showers. Had to wash with liquid hand soap. Could not get the coffee pot to cooperate. For the price point, I would have expected those basic amenities. Host left the ingredients to make s'more's (nice touch) but because of the rain, we couldn't build a fire.

Perfect location

We were so pleased with this property. The location was right in the middle of all the things we wanted to explore. It is a beautiful home and exactly what we were looking for!

Nice Gettaway

Me and a few friends stayed here for an overnighter on our way to Ace Adventure to do some white water rafting over the weekend. A beautiful home that met all of our needs. We did have a slight issue with propane needed for the grill but communication was great and it was quickly resolved. I highly recommend this place and we may be coming back next Fall to do the Gauley!

Wonderful Weekend

If you’re looking for a quiet and spacious place to stay near a lot of outdoor activities, this is the place! The pictures do not do it justice for how beautiful it is inside! It was the perfect place for a laid back and relaxing bachelorette weekend for my sister.

Buckingham Cabin

We were looking for a house close to the lake and campground, this house was perfect location for both. The home was even bigger than the pictures made it look, especially the family room/kitchen area. We had everything we needed at the house. Weather unfortunately took out electricity the last day we were there, but opened the windows and cool WV night air helped us get a good night sleep. Highly recommend this home!

Clean and convenient location

Spent 2 nights here while enjoying Summersville Lake. Property was super clean and the host was easy to work with. Would definitely book again and recommend this property.

Summer Vacation

Very clean & well accommodated. Beautiful house & area. I would recommend locking latches be placed on the barn doors because they tend to want to open on their own.

Summersville Lake getaway

The cabin is very nice and comfortable. We brought our boat and luckily had a slip reserved at the marina. There is no parking space for a boat or trailer and the pictures make the parking area appear larger than it is. It would also be nice to have a washer and dryer at the house. We did enjoy the house and location right on the Lake.

Simple Renovations

We loved the deck and the grate room. The back of the house from the road could be freshened up a bit and underneath the deck should be cleaned out to make it more appealing. The gate leading onto the deck should open the opposite way since you have to move to the left and then close the gate before you can proceed toward the entrance to the house which is difficult as you carry luggage, etc. up to the house. These would be easy fixes with little expense. It also may make sense to replace the bunk beds with two twins since us old people had to climb up the ladder.

Thanksgiving with Family

Fully furnished, kitchen supplies good, dining room chairs sub standard, smart features fun, beds comfortable, adequate linens, great room expansive and roomy, tvs large and fairly easy to gain controls of multiple remotes. Overall price point good for service.

Good stay, slightly misleading about beds

We enjoyed our stay here. Nice quiet location, everything was clean, and check in and check out were easy. I would say the listing was a little misleading about sleeping 10–it actually sleeps 7. There are 2 double beds, a pull-out sofa, and a single cot. Apparently the additional 3 come from an air mattress, and I wouldn’t say that counts. When I look for a rental property, I expect for the sleeping accommodations to include an actual bed for all parties. Apart from that, it was a good stay!

Great stay for Gauley Rafting!

We stayed here when rafting the New and Gauley rivers and was a great spot! Space to lay out an air mattress however the futon couch was old and you could feel the springs, maybe recommend bringing an extra air mattress. Beautiful property and very clean, would stay again!

We were only there one eve but everything was clean and as advertised. We cooked a full dinner including grilled items and the place had all the utensils and cookware we needed.

Active construction on the premisses

There is an active construction going on at this location. Another house is being build right next to this one. How can I categorize my stay? A scam. Who would like 7am banging and pounding? I rented this property to have a peace and quietness for my family. What did I get? Noise, dirt, dust, construction workers...

Very nice house - not as big as listed.

This is a really nice house. The big room is great and spacious. The bathrooms and kitchen are well appointed. The property manager is great and very responsive. I do not see how this house could sleep 10 as indicated . We slept 4 comfortably and could maybe stretch to 7 if the humans are small. A previous commenter mentioned the furniture. It’s is worn out and older but works ok.
