Enjoy all the benefits of the Mississippi River while staying at this all-season cabin located directly on the Mississippi River in Trempealeau, WI. The cabin features a private dock for direct river access (usually May-October depending on the water level), a firepit for campfires and a large screen porch along the river side allowing endless hours of serenity and views. Experience the natural beauty, entertainment and recreational areas of Trempealeau Wisconsin. Walking distance to downtown Trempealeau, 3 miles to Perrot State park and a 1/2 mile to access the public boat landing, Trempealeau Lakes and the Great River State Bike Trail. Whether you're planning a family vacation, fishing/ice fishing, boating or bicycling trip or just want to get out of town to relax, look no further, as this cabin meets all of your needs.

The cabin has 1 bedroom with a queen bed and queen futon to comfortably sleep 4 people. The living room has a queen sofa sleeper and the front screen porch has a full size futon (great for sleeping during warmer temperatures). The kitchen is fully stocked with pots/pans, coffee maker/filters, toaster, microwave, plates, glasses, silverware and basic spices. We provided bed linens, bath and kitchen towels and toilet paper.

The dock is available to you during your stay usually May-October. The timing depends on the river water level. There are also public boat landings within 1/2 mile available to get on the water/ice.

20th annual Father son fishing trip

Wonderful little place. Clean and very well maintained. Met the owners. Great people. Even I noticed it was decorated nicely. The space was well utilized with good quality furnishings. 👍 Boat docking situation was perfect.

Cabin relaxation

Nice location on the Mississippi River. Very relaxing. Jacuzzi tub was a plus after a day of long hiking! Highly recommend!!

We enjoyed the great view, bird watching and all of the small touches. Charcoal and supplies for the grill, cute flowers and condiments in the refrigerator were appreciated.

Relaxing Respite

I booked the place for a couple of days to rest & relax & read. This was the perfect place for that. It was peaceful sitting in the screened in porch or outside by the fire pit. The bed was comfy and the pellet stove kept the place warm and cozy. The place was clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay.

River cabin in Trempealeau

This is an amazing place located just south of L&D 6. I went there for some quiet "me time" and I found it. I was immersed in nature and spent the time hiking and pampering myself. Tori is a great host and provided everything I could think of for my stay. This would be an ideal place to stay during any season of the year and I'm hoping to go back when when the flowers are blooming.

An unforgettable stay in Trempealeau

We enjoyed our stay and made precious memories during our stay in the Mississippi river cottage in Trempealeau. The communication with our host, Tori, was excellent, and she had thought of all the details to make the cottage an inviting and pleasant place to stay and escape the noise of the big city. It was very clean, had a wonderful view of the Mississippi and we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the countryside , relaxing in the Adirondack chairs on the lawn. We liked the screen porch and the Jacuzzi bathroom skylight but above all- the gorgeous view of the river and the peacefulness of the place. We will definitely revisit this cozy, great escape in a year!

Cabin on the River

We rented the cabin for my two daughters (40+) and 2 grandsons (18+), however only one daughter and one grandson made it. They were from Idaho and really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. The cabin was perfect for them. Since it was quite warm, we were inside with the A/C on, but also enjoyed the outdoors.

Amazing View

The cabin was very clean and neat. We really enjoyed the view from the screen porch and watching all the birds and the barges going by on the river. Many great bluff views and other things to do in the area as well. Where else can you lay in bed in the morning and watch Mississippi River barges by your window, amazing! Thank you for sharing your cabin!

Awesome riverside cabin!

From making reservations to the end of our stay was flawless. We loved the cabin. It is very clean and tastefully decorated. The river and bluff views are top notch. Really enjoy the area and look to come back this summer/fall. Thanks for sharing your cabin!

Peaceful

Very pleased with the rental. I thought it was actually nicer and cleaner than the pictures show. My family loved the bananagram game found in the dining area and had fun playing that a ton! We lit a campfire during the early evening and that was a beautiful and peaceful site next to the river and with the snow. We also loved the beauty of all the beautiful birds enjoying the bird feeder during our stay. The pellet stove was a nice touch and the kitchen had all that we needed to cook good meals along with a dishwasher for an easy cleanup. Great winter get away!

Return stay at Cabin on the Mississippi

I had such a great visit in the summer staying here, that I booked it again for Christmas over the holidays. I didn't think you could top the summertime with it's screen porch, the dock and river access, but it was equally as enjoyable in the snow and watching the Mississippi River freeze over from the beginning to the end of my stay. I had a slight problem getting onto the TV network which was resolved immediately by Tori. The internet is fast and works very well. This is an excellent private and scenic cabin with direct river views. It's great for a couple, friends or even if you stay there mostly by yourself which I did. Each time I book it I stay slightly longer. I look forward to booking it again soon! Oh and one more note, it was -10 degrees (the deep freeze of 2022) several of the days during my stay, and the place remained warm and cozy. Driveway was plowed consistently never an issue. The pellet stove is a great feature for those cold winter months.

A cozy & relaxing trip!

Awesome Mississippi River Cabin

I stayed at this cabin in November, 2022. This is a wonderful, clean, well-stocked and maintained river-side cabin. It has awesome views of the Mississippi, and the hosts are a lovely couple that do everything they can to help their guests enjoy their cabin as much as they do. I hope to stay here many more times in the future.

Lovely, Relaxing Fall Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay in this cabin on the Mississippi River. The accommodations were simple, comfortable, and had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. The screened in porch is a real plus, and when it was cold out the pellet stove help keep us warm. Tori was a very responsive host who made us feel welcomed and always answered any questions we had. We highly recommend it and look forward to a future stay.
