Spectacular mountain views dazzle in this five-bedroom log cabin home. Nestled on two acres of private land between Acorn Creek and the Blue River, guests can escape to fresh, alpine air and gaze into wide-open skies of clear blue. The traditional log structure (outside and in) is sure to charm! Enjoy views of the mountains from almost every window, and enjoy breathing in the fresh air on the balcony under those wide open skies. The location is a short drive to many of Colorado’s finest mountain activities including skiing, riding, hiking, fishing, hunting, paddling, boating, snowmobiling, tubing, disc golf, attending outdoor concerts, and shopping at the Silverthorne outlets! And there’s plenty of parking spaces for your group (with extra pull-through space for your favorite outdoor toys - RV’s, ATVs, boats, among others).

Two floors of living rooms means that everyone will have space to enjoy a chat, read a book, or play a board game. The downstairs living room offers a new Roku TV for use with your Netflix, Hulu, and other streaming accounts. Guests can unwind in the fully-stocked yoga nook complete with mats and props. The recently remodeled kitchen has new full-size appliances, including a gas stove and a new prep-island so you can cook up and serve delicious meals for your group. Use the private washer/dryer to clean up your gear while you relax, so you'll be ready for the next day's adventures. A sofabed provides an extra sleeping space.

The first bedroom is just down the hall from this home's kitchen, just past the hallway's full bathroom featuring a shower/tub combination. Set on the left side of the hallway, this first bedroom features a mountain view framed by elegant drapes. At the end of the hall, the second bedroom features a two-window view and extra seating. The third bedroom is the main bedroom of the home and lies across from the first bedroom - guests of this room can enjoy private balcony access and a lovely en suite bathroom featuring double sinks and a standalone shower. Head down the stairs and turn left down the hallway to find the fourth bedroom. This is the bunk room of the house, and features a ground-level view. The fifth and final bedroom features a two-window view of the mountains from ground level. The full bathroom just down the hallway (featuring double sinks and a shower/tub combination) can serve the needs of guests on this floor.

Delightful out of the way mountain stay
We rented this property for a family ski trip. We needed a place that allowed dogs, had lots of rom and was affordable. This home hit the mark on all of our needs and had the bonus of being outside the normal noisy, crowded ski area traffic. If you are up for an extra 15 minute drive to summit county ski areas, this place is a great choice. It's roomy, comfortable and close to some really nice hikes. We'd certainly stay here again.

Amazing views & quick access to ski resorts
This home was a perfect selection for our weekend ski trip. Easy access to Keystone and Copper mountains, and on the way to Steamboat. The home is perched on a hill in a very quiet, gravel road community, which boasts some of the best Mountain View’s in Summit County. Additionally, the gated yard was perfect for our dog. I’ve already recommended staying here to several friends!

Great location, not great smell
Loved the views, not the urine smell that permeated the house. Screens missing from many windows. Corrugated metal strewn about the yard.

Great for dogs!
It is a beautiful house and a beautiful property - good set up if bringing dogs. Beautiful views of the snow-capped mountains! Only thing is the front outdoor light is burnt out - makes getting down the front steps dangerous!

The views!! Would do this again just to wake up in the morning and sip coffee while staring out any of the numerous windows with incredible views!!

Piece of serenity near cute mountain towns
We absolutely loved our stay over the weekend! We came for the mountains, but the cabin was just as magical. The place is very clean and welcoming. We loved how much space there was with 5 bedrooms (the beds were very comfortable btw). Also, I was impressed that the cabin stayed nice and toasty even when it was below freezing outside. Lastly - we loved how dog friendly it was. Dog beds and leashes were available for use. Until next time!
