Only 10 km from Treviso, which enchants with its beautiful buildings with ancient frescoes and its small canals, in a rural setting on the outskirts of the small town of San Biagio di Callalta with various stores and services, is this part of an old restored farmhouse with a large communal garden, barbecue, children's playground. The position of the vacation home is strategic: near fascinating art cities such as Treviso, Venice (40 km), Padua (70 km) and Vicenza (95 km); Only 30 km from the Adriatic coast with its long sandy beaches and lively seaside resorts such as Lido di Jesolo (36 km), Eraclea Mare (39 km), Caorle (52 km) with stores and services of all kinds, restaurants, bars, discos , water and amusement parks; Less than 100 km away the Dolomites. The house extends over two floors, offers plenty of space and is furnished with attention to detail. Although the garden is for common use with the owners, guests have their own area to relax. The area offers several 18-hole golf courses and bike paths. The Ostiglia bicycle-pedestrian path runs along the nearby Sile River Park. The various Palladio villas - UNESCO heritage, and some beautiful medieval towns and characteristic villages are within easy reach: Roncade, Castelfranco Veneto, Oderzo, Vittorio Veneto, Cison di Valmarino, Asolo. 20 min. from the house, on the river Sile, there is the possibility of boat trips to the Venice lagoon and islands. A rich gastronomic offer: In the area there are many trattorias and restaurants, many wineries where you can taste famous wines such as Prosecco, Cabernet and Raboso. The house has mosquito nets on all windows.

Très bon accueil de Gabriella et de sa fille Giulia. Maison avec beau jardin au calme, en tous points conforme à la description. Je connaissais déjà la région (père et grand-père originaires de Trévise). Une voiture est nécessaire pour se déplacer (courses, restaurants, vistes) et découvrir les nombreux attraits de la Vénitie et de ses environs (Venezia, Tréviso, Verona, Vicenza, Trieste, Padova et même Ferrara et Bologna en Emilie Romagne). La maison est à la campagne avec des commerçants à proximité, boulanger, charcutier/fromager et primeur producteur. Centre commercial avec supermarché à 10mn en voiture. Nous étions 4 adultes mais la maison peut accueillir faciliment 4 personnes de plus. Merci à Gabriella et à Giulia. Silvano

Quietness in a great surroundings!

Located in rural area, spacious and comfortable house. The owners are very gracious hosts with helpful tips on area to visit during our stay. As we were cycling, we found the house perfectly located to venture, using our rental car, from flatlands to the majestic Dolomites with easy access to the various starting points.

Lovely quiet house in the countryside, good for day trips to Venice etc.

Einfach toll!

Wir waren mit unseren 2 Kindern in den Oktoberferien im La Ghiandaia und sehr begeistert! Das Haus ist wunderschön eingerichtet, gemütlich und lässt sich in der kühleren Jahreszeit gut heizen (einen Kamin gibt es auch). Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber sind supernett. Die Lage des Hauses eignet sich wunderbar, um Ausflüge zu unternehmen: wir waren z.B. in Venedig, Padova, Castelfranco Veneto, verschiedenen Villen (Emo, Pisani), einer Burg in Conegliano und am Sile-Fluss. Als Anreisevariante empfehlen wir den Nachtzug von München nach Venedig, das war für uns alle ein großes Abenteuer. Herzlichen Dank an Gabriella und Stefano (und ihren Hund Sally) für die Gastfreundschaft und die schöne Unterkunft!

Perfekte Entspannung in ländlicher Lage

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und bietet einen schönen großen Garten. Dass die Besitzer auf demselben Grundstück wohnen, hat für uns nur Vorteile gehabt. Die Lage ist, ander als vorher vermutet, recht ländlich und doch perfekt zwischen Treviso, Strand und Venedig. Mit dem Auto ist man in 15 min in Treviso, in 30 min am Strand und mit dem Zug von Treviso aus in 30 min in Venedig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Besitzer sprechen neben Italienisch auch Deutsch und Französisch. Empfehlenswert für Besucher, die einen Kompromiss zwischen Tagesausflügen und Haus mit Garten suchen.
