Welcome to your fun, yet relaxing getaway at Chigger Cove Cottage on Monkey Island!

This newly remodeled two- story home is 4 bedrooms, 3 bath and sits on 1+ acres!

OUTDOORS
Have fun swimming in the lake or in the 7-person hot tub! Grill out while friends/family visit on the stylish patio furniture or go closer to the lake and sit at the 8 chairs surrounding the fire pit! Explore Monkey Island on the 6-person golf cart or after a day out on the lake park your boats on our private 2-slip boat dock that also has a 1-2 jet ski dock attached. CCC has a detached two car garage and multiple parking spots for vehicles and boat trailers/RV!

INDOORS
FIRST FLOOR
When you enter through the front door you will find the open kitchen with a refrigerator, gas stove and pantry. Sit at the marble kitchen island that seats 4 or at the 6-person dining table. Go around the corner and you will find a bathroom with a soaking tub, a 4- bed bunkroom, and a queen size bedroom.
SECOND FLOOR
Walk down the fun leopard print staircase to find a bar overlooking a card table with a 55-inch Smart TV. Keep going and you’ll find a King Size bedroom, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and then to finish up the hallway a queen size bedroom that has an attached bathroom with walk in shower and a washer and dryer. Walk down ONE step to find a large sitting area, 65-inch Smart TV, wood burning fireplace, pool table and kitchenette with refrigerator.

Beautiful home in a beautiful area

The house is great and in a beautiful area! Enjoyed our time on the lake, the dock and the fire pit! Neighbors were very nice and the golf cart is a huge bonus. We enjoyed cruising around the neighborhood, seeing the interesting house nearby with animals on property. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Property

Really enjoyed staying at this lakeside property. The house comfortably slept 11 people with plenty enough space in and out to gather for meals, drinks, and games. The ease of access to the dock and lake made our choice even better. We would definitely come back!

Great location right near Shangri La. Lot of space for 12 people. Plenty of places to sleep. We came on a golf weekend and it worked perfectly for us.

Incredible Lake Property

Such a great experience for my family. This home had it all and was exactly at presented. Lori was quickly available to help answer any questions we had. Hot Tub, Traeger, Golf Cart and a real fireplace really made experience.

Wonderful weekend get away!

We had a total of 4 adults, 3 teenagers and 4 young children. The house was roomy enough for all of us to be comfortable. The upstairs kitchen is beautiful and had more things stocked than many other Vrbo homes we’ve stayed in. When we had a small issue the owners were more than willing to come out and fix the problem. Our favorite parts were the fire pit and dock. Definitely would book again!

Favorite Lake House Ever

It is everything the listing advertised and more. There is plenty of gathering space for everyone, as well as, 3 separate spaces to gather for different activities. The place is beautifully updated. We enjoyed spending time on the patio, in the hot tub and around the fire pit. The golf cart was an added bonus that fits 6+ people. We will definitely stay here again.

Chigger Cove house

We love this house. I. have a couple of ideas that could improve someone's stay. One, for the owner, go ahead and buy quality cookware. People are paying a lot to stay here and the cookware isn't up to par with the rest of the house. 2. The dishwasher door is going to hurt someone if it isn't repaired. It doesn't seem like the dishwasher itself is installed properly but when you open the door you better be ready to get out of the way or know before hand that you have to hold it until it almost hits the floor and it's heavy. Other than that, the home is a great space and in a beautiful cove. It's nice to have a place to keep our boat when we are there because we keep it at Grand all of the time and really apprepciate being able to just walk out the back door instead of driving over to my sisters home in patricia island and then back in the boat to pick people up. Great plus.

Great Location in quiet cove

We loved our stay in Chigger Cove Cottage. House was a quick drive and boat ride away from Shangri La but we were able to enjoy our quiet cove when the kids just wanted to swim off the dock. House was clean and updated and host was very responsive. We had a great time!

Cousins reunion

We loved the property, plenty of outdoor space for kids to run around, boat slip was great for jumping in. We rented a boat from a nearby marina and our cove was so easy to get in and out. Two water boards are on the property with paddles, so fun..I would definitely stay again ! I do have two complaints which is property listed 4 queens but there was only 3. We found out later the fourth is an air mattress in a closet but I brought my own air mattress to use in case I needed it. The kitchen doesn’t have any platters and the two frying pans are small and terrible because all food stuck to them and was so hard to clean. If you want a good omelette pan bring your own. Hate to complain those were minor to us. All and all a beautiful home. We loved it.

Perfect Grand Lake Vacation!

My family and I travel all over and this place was amazing! It is secluded yet close to everything. Perfect location on the lake! So many great things about this place.. the dock, hot tub, fire pit area, golf cart, parking area, etc. The house looked just like the pictures! Highly recommend!

Dream Getaway

Our family wanted to vacation at the lake for new years and this place did not disappoint! We spent a lot of time in the hot tub, sat around the fireplace and fished off the dock and rode the golf cart to the resort for what ended up being one of the best times we have ever had at a VRBO. Thank you so much for giving my family the time of their lives.
