Colonial on Crane: Hot tub, pet friendly, and boat dock included

Stunning and sprawling southern colonial home great for family gatherings, reunions, or just hanging out with friends. Located on the tip of crane lake within Buckeye Lake. Use for events or weddings is available with host permission. Booking pricing does not reflect event/wedding pricing.

Colonial on Crane is a stunningly built home by a cabinet maker, the carpentry and craftsmanship in the home is stunning. The home is 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths with a massive open first floor plan great for holiday gatherings, three bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms in the finished basement, as well as a game room and several sitting areas. The master has an on-suite, kitchenette, and private second floor deck overlooking the water and a great place to enjoy hot coffee or hot cocoa in the morning. Boat dock is available for additional rental during your stay, the dock is across the street.

Late check out (12:30pm) available upon request for $115.

Pets come with a $115 cleaning fee. Please mark/pay for your pets to ensure we can compensate the cleaners for their extra work.

Home away from home

Just a group of friends away for the weekend to see the Solar Eclipse and this house was just perfect for us. It was a home away from home and my dream home. Rachel was wonderful to talk to and responded quickly to all my questions. The town is a quiet sweet town. I would highly recommend this listing.

Great Accommodation for Team

Yearly get together

Large beautiful property. Great game area!!! Great eating area!!!! Lake access, places to walk , outside and inside I think we used every inch of the property They voted the house best place for reunion

Cross country camp

We had 12 cross country teen girls stay for 4 days for our team building camp. We were able to run on the 4.1 mile path around the lake, enjoyed swimming, the hot tub and had plenty of room for all

Relaxation and Fun

Staying on the water is one of the best places to relax and yet have a lot of fun. This home offers the option to do both in the home and is close to fun on the water. We had the freedom to enjoy activities all together and in groups separately. The home is very roomy and comfortable, and the host is very responsive. It was a great weekend!

Family stay

Plenty of room for family to stay and enjoy our time there. Kitchen was open with a nice counter and dining room. Televisions in each room so all could enjoy themselves. Nice porch area for relaxing and visiting with each other. Beds and bedrooms we’re comfortable.

Friendsgiving Trip Mostly Awesome

The property was exactly what we were looking for. It had lots of common areas, a nice kitchen, enough bedrooms. It is very updated and a perfect place to gather with a few families for a weekend getaway. The downside was it didn't have some essentials. The kitchen has almost nothing as far as pans, pots, serving bowls or 9x12 glass dishes, knives, cutting boards but has plenty of plates, bowls, silverware. The oven burns and sets off the smoke alarm as it is a convection oven and the microwave sitting above it is broken so no exhaust which was an issue. The firepit is gas as well as the grill. We had to replace the tanks upon arrival as there was no propane and we only had a 3 night stay. The house has a TV in almost every room which was awesome. The hot tub was perfect and lots of towels were provided for the hot tub as well as the house bathrooms. Some small fixes could make this house stellar: - broom in the house; only vacuum cleaner - cookie sheet, larger pans, some glass dishes to mix a salad or recipe together, cutting boards, knives that work - fix or replace microwave so there is an exhaust for the convection oven - screens in the windows!!! - add another bed or a more functional option in the master than the futon that is there now. Its tiny and super small. Another bed would go along way. Other than that - this place is pretty awesome.

This home is stunning! From the front porch, to the kitchen, to all the spaces inside. Our stay was accommodating, comfortable, and one of the best we've had in a while. Right off the water and conveniently located. Thank you Colonial on Crane!!

Gorgeous home and great communication.

We had a great stay on our girls trip to Buckeye Lake! The home is even more beautiful than the pictures show. So many great spaces for hanging out. When we had a few questions, our messages and one phone call were answered so quickly and the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Anniversary celebration

Our family stayed at Colonial on Crane for a weekend anniversary celebration. The home is very modern with plenty of group-friendly amenities including lovely wrap around porches with fans, a very nice gas grill, fire pit, hot tub and a short walk to paths along Buckeye Lake. The property manager was very helpful and immediately available for any questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Colonial on Crane.

Memorial Day Weekend Stay

We loved our stay at this property! The house was clean, spacious and had really nice touches that made it feel welcoming and cozy. The host communicated everything very well and made sure our check in was smooth and that we had all the info we needed. We look forward to staying here again!

Amazing House in a Great Location

This house was beautiful, spacious, well stocked, and incredibly clean. We had a group of 9 staying here for a birthday weekend and it was such a great time, just steps away from the lake and close to all the attractions of the region. We had an initial issue with the wifi after checkin, but the host responded very quickly and we had service restored quickly. I would definitely recommend this property for large families and/or groups.
