Great space for large group
I got nervous re-reading reviews the week leading up to our stay, with multiple complaints about cleanliness. they must have changed cleaning services as we didn't have any issues with the house not being clean like others did. Could it use a deep clean? Sure, but I bet your personal home does too. The house was neat and tidy, beds well made, and ready for visitors. There are a few things here and there that could be improved by a handyman, but nothing that made our stay unsafe or troublesome. As noted by others, there are not blinds in the bedrooms. Perhaps the owners could add some simple curtains that would block some of the lights from the shipyard. The layout of this home was perfect for our group of 10 people. Plenty of room to spread out and the teenagers loved having their own "apartment" in the basement. The only odd thing is that the main kitchen does not have a full size refrigerator. Looking back at the listing photos it does show the two smaller refrigerators. We had some difficulty getting them cold enough and it was hard for our grandma to get things in and out being so low to the floor. The only full size fridge is in the basement apartment, but that's why we brought teenagers, to run back and forth for us. The only other bummer is the late check in @4pm & super early checkout @10am. We were offered a late checkout of 2 Pm, but it was $110, not worth it. Overall, this home has the most amazing views and a great layout for families & groups!

DO NOT STAY HERE ITS A HORRIBLE HOUSE
Home was filthy! Walked in in our feet was colored black by all the dirt. Turned water faucet on and nozzle flew right off. Was told that is how faucet design is. Totally untrue. Towels were out away wet so we had to rewash them. Door in main living room broken! Picture windows coated with dust! Bathrooms all full of mold! Was told by Vacasa that it’s calcium build up which it is not! Sheet on trundle bed was filthy with boot marks. Spider webs and dust cover everything in this home. There are so many issues, uncleanliness, and health hazards this home has! I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE! MANAGEMENT AND VACASA DO NOT CARE. EMAILED AND CALLED ABOUT 100 TIMES AND NOTHING! Worst vacation home me and my family have ever stayed in!

Great house for families
Overall..very pleased with the choice. Loved the roominess; big spacious rooms; great amenities (even though through my communication with Vacassa they told me there was NOTHING in the kitchen) So I toted all my stuff only to find it very well stocked. Loved the spacious back deck. As stated in a few of the other reviews the inconvenience of the broken slider in dining room and no shades was a bit of a nuisance. Surface cleaning was great but could really use a deep clean (under couches, beds etc) Downstairs bathroom was REALLY in need of cleaning..moldy shower curtain; tub really dirty

Dirty and not well maintained
The views are amazing, the neighborhood is quiet, but the house itself is filthy, and there are several broken items throughout. This includes the sliding glass door in the family room and several blinds in several rooms. The dishes, stove, and oven were all greasy. The furniture and floors were full of dirt and hair/fur. Some bedding needed to be washed before we could sleep. The property management representatives were all very friendly and totally ineffective. This could be such a lovely home, but property management just doesn't maintain it.

Great View
Listing is accurate, stay was mostly as expected. Things to know: sliding doors need some maintenance. No living room access to the deck due to slider being OOC. Second floor rooms lack window coverings which cause significant temperate imbalance across the home in the evening on sunny days. Otherwise no complaints.

Huge house needs work & cleaning
Our first night, we went downstairs to find a massive amount of ants through the kitchen and living room. We text the # provided with no help. We were up until 1230am going to the store for ant spray & traps with no help or response from the property management. Down stairs shower sprays water everywhere, completely drenching the whole bathroom. Sliding door in the living room was broken. Dirt inside the sheets of one bed, and overall dusty, not clean.

Beautiful view but poor customer service
The views were great and the layout of the house was nice. We enjoyed the location and proximity to town and grocery stores. However, the house was dusty, bathrooms needed a deep clean, and the floors had not been swept in a good while. We swept the kitchen the first night we arrived and collected dust bunnies and trash from under the cabinets. The hallway toilet doesn’t flush well either. We also learned that the main fireplace doesn’t work even though it is advertised as an amenity. And don’t expect real customer service. You will get auto replies to questions and concerns. We also believe we left some keys and they want to charge for someone to look while cleaning. Overall, we will find another place to stay next time. They don’t seem to take the previous complaints about cleanliness seriously and make changes.

Gorgeous Olympic mountain sunsets; spacious home
This is the second time we’ve booked this home. It’s conveniently located (Albertsons grocery 1.4 miles away), well-stocked kitchen and spacious rooms upstairs. The best part is the gorgeous view of the Bremerton and the Olympics. My suggestion is to get a better cleaning service. I’ll leave my comments directly with Vacasa.

Grandads 65th Birthday
The property was spacious and the view was beautiful. The home was not cleaned well: oven dirty, stand alone freezer iced over, refrigerators needed wiped out, master bedroom tub needed cleaned. The house is in bad need of a handyman to come in and tighten everything. Knobs and handles are lose, closet doors off tracks and won’t shut etc. The property was built in 1968 and needs maintenance badly. The bottom deck was covered in blackberry wines. The beds are foam mattresses and the master room bed needs replacing. It sags in the middle and was very uncomfortable. Would we rerent the property again? No - the photos made it look newer than it was and for the price we thought it would be nicer inside.

Not clean
The house is beautiful and view its nice. But everywhere was so dirty. Me and my sisters clean everywhere next morning. Bedsheets were dirty. To much dust on the floors. We were unable to use oven because its was in horrible condition. Its took me hrs to clean the barbecue grill. I wish i could give 5 stars but because of all that mess i spend half of my time on cleaning instead of enjoying my time. My kids has an allergy for dust so having clean house it’s important for me.

Almost Fantastic
This home is spacious in the living areas. I will give it that. It has beautiful views and is decently stocked in the kitchen. But the house is in massive need of deep cleaning. Very simple and basic things were absolutely disgusting. Bathroom vent vans were caked with dust and grime. ALL 3 bathroom showers had mold present which was 100% cleanable (I have before and after pictures of the big shower since we did it ourselves). One shower drain was even clogged. Mirrors and windows were dirty, floors were dirty, There were previous guest dirty laundry in the laundry basket. Sinks had toothpaste in them. The freezer contained opened foods from previous guests. Like ice cream half eaten. If you lift a couch cushion, it's pure crumbs and nastiness. All things that any reputable cleaning company would take care of. It looks like the owner spot cleans and changes sheets after guests to save a buck, but they aren't clean people. So much potential here, but I would not risk coming back. I messaged Vacasa immediately, was promised resolution that night, no one came to clean or fix the drain. So we spent a portion of our vacation time cleaning and pulling hair and plunging the shower drain so that our 15 guests could at least shower in one bathroom. Totally unacceptable. Upon final resolution, our cleaning fee was refunded. That's it. Needless to say, we are very unhappy.

weekend getaway for friends
It was a beautiful setting. We enjoyed the large living room and dinning room table. The deck overlooks the bay which we enjoyed being able to use. Close by to stores, walking trail, and restaurants.
