Bird watching only

House was cute, in a nice location. Only bed in the house is not comfortable at all and noisy, creaky. I can safely say it was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. Rear glass patio door did not lock. Past review from 2022 also said it did not lock. We were not comfortable sleeping in a new area and leaving our belongings in a house we could not secure. Had a little coffee station, but there was no outlet, so if you wanted coffee, you had to move the keurig, which we could not get to work. Water levels are too low to fish. Not the fault of the host, but something in the listing would have been nice. We did walk out in the clear ankle deep water to see if it got deeper, and my husband came in with a leech. If you want fishing or time in the water, this is not the place for you. Lots of birds to watch.

Cute place with lovely view!

Such a cute place right in the water. It was very peaceful and relaxing! Can’t wait to go back in the summer, when we can actually enjoy that water!

The house is nice but the views and the fishing were worth every penny. The house was very clean .

I would love to stay there again. Enjoyed every minute and hated to leave 🙂

This was a wonderful cabin which had everything I needed. It was clean, spacious, and the view was amazing. The weather was windy and rainy, but the cabin was cozy and welcoming. I will be staying here again.

Peaceful Little Cottage

We loved staying here! The cottage was clean and had everything we needed! So nice to be that close to the water.We enjoyed sitting on the back deck and listening to all the quiet, peaceful sounds of nature; not to mention the most BEAUTIFUL sunset we’ve seen in quite a while! We’ll be back!

Quaint Saginaw Bay

The house was very nice, perfect size for us. The view of Saginaw Bay was beautiful. If you’re a birder, this is the place to go as well. It is very relaxing to sit on the deck, look out over the water, and see many egrets, and other waterfowl. I did not bring my kayaks, it would’ve been a perfect place to kayak. I’m sure the sunsets are amazing, but I was up at a State Park so I never got to see one from there.

Awesome cottage!

Everything was great. Peaceful, relaxing and they allow 1 dog under 50#s. One of the main reasons we chose this rental. Our dog Bria also gave it 5 stars!

Nature Retreat

Absolutely lovely! Very clean and plenty of room. The views are spectacular. The cottage is waterfront with lots of birds to enjoy watching. The bird sounds are beautiful music to the senses. The Sunsets are amazing. You will not be disappointed.

Quiet little cottage with a peaceful view

I took my grandma on a short trip to visit Caseville, and this cottage was only a 15 minute drive to their downtown area. The patio on the house was sooo relaxing. The couple issues we had were addressed by Wade immediately and he was so kind and professional. I would definitely stay at another one of his properties as I was told he has four in that area. Overall my grandma and I had a great, relaxing time! But if you are looking to stay somewhere with a ton of activities… this may not be the best place for you. This is relaxation at its finest for a good price!

A peaceful getaway

Enjoyed the location. The home is perfect for a couple. The view of the lake provides an indescribable beauty. The neighbors are pleasant. You can drive to Caseville within in 15 to 20 minutes. Go where you want and come back to this place to relax. Would gladly recommend this home and the owner.

Great Property

We went to get away from hustle and bustle. Very secluded friendly neighbors. Enjoyed the Sugar Festival in town. Would stay again.

Back door doesn’t lock

Could feel springs in mattress, back door doesn’t lock at all. This has to be already known because the latch didn’t even line up. Blinds are needed on all windows/doors. As soon as it got dark at 5pm, zero privacy. There is one central heat system that should be noted. Can’t sleep in the bedroom with the door closed or no heat. Property mgr said he would send someone to look at lock, that never happened and then he ignored me. He was 3 hours away. Quite irresponsible. I wouldn’t stay here again.
