A Little Piece of Heaven
This house is even better than the pictures! Absolutely beautiful! The cabin itself is immaculate, hot tub is huge, and the property and views are priceless! We got to see a deer with a fawn right in the yard every day. Wonderful experience, we're hoping to stay here again soon!

Location location
The house is set in a peaceful and quiet place. It has two creeks surrounding the property with a few of the mountain range. House is perfect! Every amenity one would need. The host where friendly and communicated with us throughout the process. Resident deer that visit in the mornings along with other wildlife makes for a tranquil setting.

Spectacular views that overlook Ennis valley and the mountains of Big Sky
I have already recommended this house to 5 of my friends. No really! The house had everything a vacation stay could offer. We enjoyed being in the middle of nature with the accommodations of a complete home. The furnishings are incredible art pieces of wood, which we admired, and they fit the house so well. The road up the house was too steep for me to ride my bike, but my husband liked the endurance challenge. While we waited to see wildlife, our dogs had a blast making sure no strange scent went unnoticed. The hot tub was a plus. We’ll be back!

Amazing ranch experience!
The Lost Bear Ranch was exactly what we see looking for! We came to Ennis/McAllister for a wedding and wanted an authentic ranch experience and the lost bear ranch was perfect! The house was clean and organized. Check in and out was very simple. The owner Patty checked in a few times but unfortunately cell service is limited/we were at a wedding event when she called, so I never spoke to her directly but it was a non issue! Would love to come back and stay again! Listening to the river rush in the hot tub at night star gazing was heavenly!

A wonderful Montana experience
Top notch all the way! This lovely log cabin, nestled next to the Revenue rock formations in Mcallister could not hand been better. From the beautiful vistas, the relaxing North Meadow Creek and the expansive, star-filled night sky (Milky Way included) , to the kind and attentive host, our trip was flawless. Thank you for creating the perfect getaway.

Beautiful home
What gorgeous views from this home. Home was awesome in its own right. Owners were great to work with and awesome in giving details of what’s around and what you can do in different cities. We all had a great time in a scenically beautiful state.

July 2022 vacation
The photos of the property were very accurate and my family was very happy with our stay. The home is extremely well maintained, the property is very private, and there is plenty of space for family to stretch out. The location is ideal for fly fishing, visiting ghost towns, accessing National Forests. Everyone in our party would be happy to spend another stay at this beautiful home. Lastly, the owners are very friendly and responsive.

Breathtaking Views and Exquisite Log Home
This log home is amazing. The interior is all tastefully chosen and made up of high end quality decor and furniture… lodge, bears, moose, and western. All our favs. The beds were beyond comfortable, the bathrooms gorgeous, and the great room/kitchen wonderfully accommodating. My hubby particularly enjoyed grilling on the brand new Weber and we all enjoyed the awesome, bubbling hot tub, even in the rain. While admiring the gorgeous 360 scenic views of the mountains and rushing rivers, we were visited by a local moose, a baby doe only a foot tall, and a few deer. The communication with the owner was outstanding. We were well taken care of in this rustic, elegant VRBO rental. You will love it there.

Magical stay
Our stay at Lost Bear Ranch was magnificent🥰. The view from the front porch provided a stunning, ever evolving backdrop to our trip. We couldn’t peel ourselves away to go inside for the night. But then the beds, ahhhhhh, sleep city after all the fresh air. We had a visit from a curious young moose, several birds, prairie dogs and deer😏. Location was divine, with one of the best restaurants I have been to in a while, right at the end of Meadow Creek, The McAllister Inn😋. Thanks Patricia for a trip of a lifetime😁

Amazing
Pictures don't do it justice - this place was incredible! Definitely make sure to follow the supplied directions and don't rely on Google Maps to get there - it's quite a bit off the main road but totally worth it. Can't imagine going back to Montana and NOT staying here!

Stop Looking!! BOOK NOW!!
Stop looking at any other cabins now! This cabin is amazing! It checks all the boxes. The pictures and description don't do it justice. I booked this cabin because of the reviews and I'm so glad I did. It actually has three rooms and sleeps 7. It has a poker table, pool table, hot tub, fire place, fire pit, down stairs jet tub, it is stocked with every possible thing you could think of. If you forget to bring something, they probably have it there for you. We love to cook and the kitchen had everything that you could ever possibly need. The view of the mountains from the rocking chairs on the front porch and the kitchen table is jaw dropping. The fire pit has wonderful seating of large rocks and a wooden bench right off the front porch area. The porch wraps around half of the house AND has plenty of comfortable rocking chairs, 2 tables, a BBQ pit, a metal fire pit that can be enjoyed from on the porch. There are five points of entry and exits; 2 from the living room, 1 side of the house near where you park your vehicle, and 1 from each of the bottom bedrooms. The creek that runs right off the back porch is beautiful, relaxing and can be enjoyed from the hot tub and heard from inside of the cabin. Lake Ennis and Bear Trap Canyon are just a few miles away and was a beautiful site to visit. We enjoyed the brewery and distillery in the nearby town of Ennis that also had a grocery store. I could go on and on. We are definitely going to be returning to this cabin hopefully sooner rather than later.

Amazing Views
We had a great time at the Griz Cabin. It is a great location if you are looking to find some seclusion. There is plenty of room and it is fully stocked with everything you could need. We cooked most of our meals there. We debated bringing our UTV but didn't and then wished we had as the national forest is right there and it would have been amazing to explore the roads. They were a little rough with the truck. The creek flowing right by the cabin was amazing and one morning we had a young moose visit us right out front. Could have stayed much longer!

Great for anyone looking for natural beauty, peace and quiet, and quality time with family/friends facilitated by great amenities like nearby hikes, hot tub, fire pit, and pool table. Amazing experience - again
We drive 1400 miles to stay here! This home has all the details that make being on vacation great; full kitchen, super beds/linens, good furniture, hot tub, view and terrific fire pit. Some years moose, cranes, rabbits in the yard. Great owners. A wonderful place to stay.

PERFECT
This cabin has it ALL! The property is stunning and I wish I could live in this place! It is the perfect place to stay while visiting the Ennis area. It's no more than a 20 minute drive into Ennis, enough removed to feel the peace that nature provides. Amy was quick to respond, providing lots of information along the way in regards to my fly fishing adventure on the Madison River. I'll be returning one day soon!

WE LOVED THIS CABIN AND WANT TO MOVE IN!!
As I sit here in my office back in the hectic life of being a full time Mom and Lawyer, I struggle to finds the correct words to express how much we loved The Lost Bear Cabin. We stayed in the cabin for four days during a three state hiking and fly fishing adventure just last week. With two full days of fishing and another day exploring nearby Bozeman Montana we just didn't get enough down time in this adorable cabin! Every detail has been thought through to make your stay enjoyable here. Each room has its own character including a room with a private bath for the four legged friend you may bring with you! The gourmet kitchen is stocked with every essential you may need and there's a pool table and poker table to keep the kids amused while you sit with your spouse watching the beautiful Montana sunset from the front porch. The rear deck of the cabin was equipped with two dining tables and a hot tub and the stream running behind the property provided soothing background noise as we fell asleep each night. This is EXACTLY the type of property I would want to own as a getaway place if only I had enough time to get away more often. Feel so fortunate that we were able to land at the place at the end of each hectic fishing and exploring days in Montana, its a 10 +++ for sure!

We loved our stay here
I love this cabin. It is the best place I have ever stayed. The surroundings and view are spectacular. The inside is tastefully decorated with a great deal of care. The house is supplied with everything you could need while you are there. The Jacuzzi next to the stream was a wonderful treat. We ate in most every night and the kitchen was delightful to prepare meals in. Robert and Patti, the owners are very welcoming and helpful. Our two dogs were warmly welcomed and also loved the house and surroundings. We stayed for two weeks and still hated to leave. We would highly recommend and hope to be back next year.
