Stunning 5,800 sq foot 5 bedroom 3.5 bath architectural marvel. Newly built. Sleeps 10 adults in beds and 9 kids in fold-outs. Nestled 40 yards from the Columbia River. Lots of room including a 1100 sq foot great room with 15 ft ceiling, entertainment / game room, two car garage - with plenty of extra parking. Unique inner court with open sky views. Large deck with surrounding trees. Two car garage. Big gas fireplace. Internet. Washer and Dryer. Away from the city. Heated polished cement floor and AC. There are also chairs that pull out beds in each room and two pull-out couches in the game room.
This is not intended to be a "party" house but has lots of room for responsible get-togethers.
Please note that because we are next the Columbia River, that means we're also next to a railroad track. However the railroad sits lower than the house and though it passes a number of times a day, I hardly notice it.

Annual family gathering

The house is fabulous, great location for our family spread throughout Oregon and Washington. It has very nice bedroom/ bathroom arrangements, nicely supplied with all the necessities and great open spaces for a gathering of 5 siblings and our spouses in their 70’s and 80’s for our annual 3 days of catching up, stories about kids and grandkids, reminiscing over years gone by and never without lots of laughter and libation. Thank you from all 10 of us.

Loved this house (again)

This is my second time renting this gorgeous house and it won't be my last. I have never felt so comfortable and relaxed in a rental. It is the perfect size for a work retreat or for a get together with friends. I plan on making this house mine every year going forward. Thanks again!!!

GORGEOUS Scenic and Beautiful Stay!

This home is built in the perfect spot for gorgeous views of the river and mountains. Tucked out of the way there is tons of space for outdoor fun. Even though the train goes by frequently it’s just an added character to the property! The home itself is set up conveniently with game room on the opposite side of all the bedrooms. The kitchen and living room space accommodate all of the people for the wedding we hosted and the bedrooms are neatly tucked away at the back. I have nothing negative to say we had a beautiful wedding and stay at this wonderful property. RECOMMEND *****

Very gorgeous house

We all loved the house (very gorgeous) it did have a couple things that might need attention, one toilet handle was broke so we had to take the top off to flush manually, one chair leg (at the table) was real close to breaking we were very careful with it but if we hadn't noticed it it could have broke. The last one would be it needs a reflective sign or something to catch your attention on the turn in to the driveway, very hard to see especially at night. Overall we had a blast in a very comfortable gorgeous house, we all enjoyed ourselves. Definitely would recommend this place

River Front Bliss

The house was amazing. Spacious, well laid out, clean, private, but the best thing is by far the view. The river view is gorgeous and all windows in the house are massive so you can take it in rain or shine. It was really safe for little ones running around because the only set of stairs could be closed off my 2 separate doors to the rest of the house which was great!

Amazing House

We used this incredible property as our family’s home base for our week in the gorge. The pictures do not even begin to do this property justice. It was like staying in an Architectural Digest magazine spread with an amazing view of the Columbia River. Very clean, bedrooms and bathrooms very roomy, and plenty of room for our 7 adults, 2 kids, and 2 toddlers. Centrally located to where ever you want to go in the gorge. Stevenson is a cute little town with a couple shops, restaurants, and groceries. We are Vrbo regulars and my family all said this was their most favorite house yet. I had a couple questions when we arrived and the owner was very responsive. Wish we could have stayed longer, this will be on our repeat list for another visit for sure.

Grandson’s Wedding

We were very happy with our choice! Beautiful home and setting. Given the opportunity we would stay again and happily recommend this home. The train does come by often but we were not bothered by it. We really enjoyed the outside space and gas fire to gather around. Our granddaughter left some items at the home and our host was gracious and working to find the items.

Gorgeous home in Stevenson, WA for big family gathering

This house was perfect for our family. The large great room and kitchen accommodated our large family. The kitchen was adequately stocked with all the supplies we needed. The bedrooms and baths were well decorated and had hair blow dryers in each. We loved the upstairs game room. The property was nestled among trees and the Columbia Gorge makes for a picturesque view. The expansive wrap around deck allowed us to enjoy the views. Communication with the owner, Aaron, for any issues were responded and resolved immediately. I highly recommend this place for a nice getaway to Stevenson.

Heavenly Home Base

If you have a group and you are going to the Columbia River Gorge, this needs to be your home base. The house itself is great for spreading out or being together and the porch life was on point! We used the grill and it worked perfectly. The location of the house (just outside Stevenson) is in the middle of the Gorge which makes it easily accessible to everything. Bring cash for going back and forth over the bridge. Recommend highly!

Perfect family lodging

We stayed with our adult children, their partners and two grandsons. The accommodations were exactly what we needed. We especially appreciated having bedrooms with an en-suite for everyone. The bedrooms are far enough away from the main spaces and game room that the kids could nap or go to bed early and the adults could still play games or watch movies. The large kitchen and dining room were perfect for family meal prepping and eating together. The trains go by multiple times a day which would have been more of an issue if we’d spent more time outside on the deck. The trains are less of an issue when you’re inside. It’s nicely situated between Portland and Hood River but is it at least a 45-minute drive to get to amy attractions. We’d stay here again.

This is a stellar spot. We booked for a wedding get together. This was the perfect place to have friends & family from all over together. Outstanding place! would recommend to anyone

The house was a beautiful open concept with floor to ceiling windows facing the river and forest. Ton of room to move around and a game room that kept the older kids and adults entertained with pool, ping pong, video gaming and arcade games. It was clean, new furnishings and close to the Stevenson downtown. Bedrooms were huge, lots of towels and well stocked kitchen with extras to make it homey. Great find.
