About this property

Rustic home in Darien Center

This 100 year old house is situated next to a train track, making it a dream come true for train enthusiasts. The train passes by approximately 10-12 times a day and night, but newly installed windows help minimize noise disruption.

Please note, if you are a light sleeper, this may not be the ideal home for you.

We are 7 minutes from Six Flags Darien Lake, 25 min from Batavia Downs horse track & casino, 30 min from Buffalo airport and 1 hour from Niagara Falls.

This home offers everything you would look for in a getaway, contemporary decor with lots of space indoor for relaxation.

A coffee bar is provided with a Keurig and K Cups. We also like to keep the "Bed and Breakfast" tradition by offering baked goods from our local bakery. If you have any allergies please let me know ahead of time.

FYI This is a side by side home .

The backyard is newly renovated. Pets are welcome but we please ask you to pay the pet fee and to keep your pets on leashes at all times.

The space:
We offer a spacious multi level four bedroom home with 2 baths. The space is perfect for couples, groups of friends or families wanting to explore Western New York.

Guest will have access to four bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large living room, dining room, kitchen, front yard/porch, 2 car driveway (possibly 3)
Basement and owners side will be locked off.

The town of Darien has a very strict policy of only 8 people for short term rentals- this includes infants. Please do not bring more than 8 people. There is a very steep fee if any extra guests are in the house.

Historic Home

We rented this for a Fri-Sun baseball tournament. It was very close to both the park and fields we were playing on as well as Darien Lake. The home was clean with lots of updates in the house including an a/c unit in 3 of the 5 bedrooms. The bunk bed room did get a little warm as it was warm this weekend, but my kids just swapped to a different room with an a/c. The beds were very comfortable and large. My kids loved the spiral staircase. Leah left us a wonderful platter of pastries from a local bakery. My only dislike of this property was its proximity to the railroad crossing. On one night it seemed like the train was going by (and blowing its horn) every 2 hours. But it didn’t happen the second night. It isn’t a deal breaker to rent this place again in the future but, take that into consideration if you are a very light sleeper.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was in great proximity to Six Flags and we had no issues. Thanks for the pastries. That was a nice touch :)

Hidden Gem in Darian Lake - The Pink House

Came across this hidden gem in Darian Lake looking for a place to stay near the amphitheater. Leah the host was super responsive, left a beautiful pastry tray from a local shop, provided a coffee bar, and many of the essentials needed making our stay super convenient. The history of this pink house was quite interesting and the nostalgia of the spiral staircase and front door active train was an added treat. With four bedrooms, a six seated dining area, and a spacious living room our family had plenty of space to make memories. This place with its boho decor allowed for a functional stay while taking a small step back in time. Located just a few miles from Darian State Park, the Amphitheater, and Six Flags we had several days of activities to partake in all within 5 miles. Leah provided a local list of businesses that deliver both groceries and takeout, along with a few of her favorites. We will definitely add the pink house to our list of return places to stay should we make our way back to Darian Lake.
