Experience lake life with amenities for comfortable living! 2-zone air-conditioned, waterfront home. A gently sloping path through the woods leads to a large private dock and covered boat slip! Bluestone boat ramp is a short distance for put in/take out. Large deck with table/chairs/umbrella overlooks a grassy, flat backyard conducive to lawn games. Firepit area as well.

4-bedroom, 2-full bath. Sleeps 15.

**3 adult single kayaks, 2 kids kayaks,1 tandem kayak, 1 pedal boat, and 1 canoe available for rental.**

Work week

Everything was exactly as described, home had more space than what the pictures seem to depict. Nice quiet street for myself and some employees to rest after a hard days work. Will be renting again. Owner was also extremely responsive

Last minute trip

A quick weekend trip for my daughters birthday. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for the family. Our dogs LOVED the open space to run around. The kids loved fishing off the dock (we caught 2 catfish & a large mouth Bass). Plenty of games and activities to keep us busy for the weekend, and relaxing at the same time. This will definitely be a home we put into our favorites!

Lake break

Everything as described, only draw back was there was slightly less than three feet of water at dock. We opted to keep our boat at local rental marina dock, instead of the houses dock. I heard this time of year water is lower and also in a little bit of a drought. Our stay was last week of October. Thank you.

Fishing Relaxation

The property was very nice and as advertised. We came to fish and have peace for a few days. The Wi-Fi network name mentioned in the email did not come up and there wasn’t a card in the basket with the password. We ended up connecting to an unsecure network when needed. Overall we had a nice time but the mattresses may need to be replaced as a couple of them were uncomfortable. 😕 Thank you for having us.

Loved it!

We had four adults and 8 kids and had plenty of space. Low boat traffic on the water so we had a blast using the kayaks and just floating. This is our second time at this location and we will be back!

Big Groups - This is a great place to stay!

We had a blast at our annual family vacation on the lake! This house has plenty of sleeping spaces for a very large family. We ranged in ages from 18 months to 70! We loved the big yard and enjoyed playing badminton, dodge ball, softball and frisbee! The fire pit was nice in the evenings and of course we made s'mores! But of course the best part was enjoying the lake. There was plenty of room for our three boats and it was a great place for a swim too. The only thing that was the least bit "negative" was the distance from the house to the lake... quite a hike but not too steep. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a great place to stay with a large group!

Great location on the lake, great hosts, but bring your linens!

The house, hosts, and location are all great. The photos and description are accurate however one important note is that linens are not provided. It would be very helpful if this was listed in the property description, clearly, up front. Overall we had a great experience. We had some things come up during our stay and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. Also, the house is well stocked with everything you could need in a kitchen, lots of extra cleaning supplies, and nice touches that help make your stay enjoyable. Highly recommend!

A weekend at Buggs Island

No sheets or towels provided buried deep in the details!

Unless you dig...several pages in, there is absolutely no information that towels and sheets are not provided! Nothing in the house description or amenities, nothing in the message from the host and the pictures include beds made up with pillow cases on the pillows. Consequently with spent a total of 1 hour in the house after paying for a 3 night rental, driving home each night.

Much needed catfish fix!

My husband and I thought that maybe this was a crazy idea, but it ended up being the best Thanksgiving for our youngest, two children and our grandson too much to explain but it was a real blessing. The weather was beautiful and your house felt like home we will be back!!

Kerr Lake Virginia

We enjoyed staying at the house. The boat landing was about 12 minutes away. We put the boat in each morning and took it out at night. I was able to charge the battery each night with an outside outlet. We used the floating dock to park the boat at lunch. The best place to eat we found was Bridgwater. I would stay there again.

Get away

Even though the hurricane poured rain, we were able to fish from the dock and head into Clarksville some. ZERO CELL PHONE reception. Almost all the way to town before getting any.

Nice weekend getaway

We had a great time. The kids enjoyed the game room and fishing. It was almost everything we’d hoped for. The only thing I didn’t 100% like was how close the neighbors were and how far away the water was. The house was fantastic just a little big for our needs.

Great place to stay

The location and property was perfect for us. The house had plenty of beds to accommodate 3 families with 4 kids comfortably. We didn't spend any time on the lake because we were there to attend a birthday party for our grandson. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need. The fridge and stove were new. Internet and satellite were a welcome addition. The gameroom occupied our grandkids for most of their free time. There is a large deck, with table, chairs, umbrella and a large grill. There is also a large front porch to enjoy the rural setting. Though there are several houses close by, we never saw anyone the entire time. The location of the house is within 10 minutes of the town of Clarksville. Overall it is a newer house that is well maintained and cared for and would meet the needs of most groups. I wish they supplied sheets and towels.

Great location!

We love the location of this house. Close to town for food, supplies, whatever you may need for your stay. Located in a quiet cove, great for swimming, docking your boat, access to main body of water. House was spacious with plenty of room for large family! Very pleased!

Wonderfully quiet!

The house was perfect for our family gathering. The temperature was very hot during our stay so we didn’t utilize the large yard as much as we would have liked. We had a great time at the lake. The kitchen was very well stocked for all of our needs.

Great House

Great house with lots of amenities. We loved not having to worry about bringing paper and cleaning supplies. Plenty of rooms and beds and the teens enjoyed the game room. Great communication with the owners. Thanks for sharing your house with our family!!!
