Terrible mistake renting this property.
Very disappointing stay. Philippe and wife good property managers, however the owner a very rude and verbally aggressive.
Apart from the location very remote, the property set in lovely surroundings. Property clean but due to the constant rain the leak in the skylight window of the kitchen caused flooding in the kitchen every day. It was attempted to be fixed but not properly. There is no gite information ie safety, contact numbers, emergency numbers etc. no fire extinguisher seen. We had to request the pool to be cleaned everyday. The steps into the pool are not appropriate for a disabled person. There was no life safety equipment on or near the pool which I felt unsafe if children or vulnerable people staying .We could not use the BBQ as it was left dirty from the previous renter. We left the property 4 days early because the kitchen again flooded.,On passing this information onto the owner before we left he became verbally aggressive and threatening to the property manager but also in front of his wife and ourselves. This left us feeling very awkward and embarrassed. He could have saved his outburst for after we had left. He left the conversation and violently slammed the front door to his house. This is not an experience we have encountered before, his bad attitude left us feeling very angry. All in all a terrible stay. As i do not have his direct contact details i would ask that Vrbo submit them to me so I can contact him directly and request a partial refund.
