About this property

New modern house (spacious & ecofriendly) with view on the lake & the mountains

The villa is located in the pretty village of Blonay in a residential and quiet area. Already in altitude offering a panoramic view while remaining very close to the lake, Vevey and Montreux. The location is ideal for families and nature lovers looking for a relaxing holiday.

In front of the house (below) a large private parking allows to park several big cars or minibuses

Access to the house is separated from the main house. A great effort was made during the design to keep the privative side for both housing. (Parking and separate access, terrace on each side of the building, hexagonal form of the house, high-end construction with double wall, etc.)

The living room, the dining room and the modern kitchen give a large open space for people to meet. The space is very bright with large bay windows offering a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains as well as direct access to the terrace,

The kitchen is modern and fully equipped to accommodate large groups.

At the entrance you will also find many storage, a toilet, a staircase to a cellar with a laundry room equipped for the guests.

Upstairs are 3 large bedrooms and two large bathrooms. Some additional bed give the possibility of organizing different extra beds

In summer:
The exterior spaces are very pleasant with the large terrace
Possibility of making walks around the house or going up with the small train to the top of the mountain (Les Pleiades)
A share swimming pool and a large trampoline ideal for the family and children.
Possibility of requesting a gas BBQ for grilling
The region offers countless possibilities (walks, lake, etc.)
The passive house remains temperate even with strong heat

In winter:
There will be occasional snow in the garden depending on the season as the house is at the limit of rain / snow. The access road is always cleared. In the vicinity of the house (300 m) a small train stop makes it possible to go up to Les Pleiades, a small family resort. 15 minutes by car you can also reach Les Paccots or 30 min by car to the main ski resorts (portes du soleil / Diableret / villars / etc)
The passive house is very comfortable with underfloor heating on both levels

A perfect home from home

Newer House with Great View and Everything You Need

We really enjoyed staying at this amazing property. The view from the bedrooms was beautiful. Lots of space to spread out. This house really had everything we needed. A short walk to the Tusinge rail stop. We didn't have a car and it would have been a bit easier to get around with one. A short drive to all that Vevey and Montreux have to offer! The host was a great communicator and very responsive!

Beautiful Swiss Home

Fantastic home overlooking Lake Geneva and the Alps. Loved the space, the location, the kitchen, the pool, and everything. Hiking the mountains in the morning followed by time in the pool was my favorite during our stay.

Wonderful place to explore the Lake Geneva region

Great home base for our family with two young children. Enjoyed the toys, outdoor space, and of course the pool. Would recommend to those looking for a place situated between Vevey and Montreux with access to the mountains as well.

Beautiful location, great property!

Perfect villa with great view on Lake Geneva

The villa is brand new and well equiped. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very large, actually everything is very spacious. Nice livingroom and great kitchen. We had a lovely holiday week at this villa. The small town of Blonay offers a supermarket and some small shops and restaurants. Within 15 minutes driving you are in Vevey or Montreux where you can do a lot of sightseeings (musea, castle, boattrips). The views from the villa are great, there is a large outside area. The only thing to keep in mind is that the road just in front of the house can be noisy, there was more traffic than we had expected. The owners live next door (the villa is semi-detached), and they respect your privacy.

Fabulous house

We have just enjoyed a week's stay in this wonderful house in Blonay. The house is extremely comfortable and spacious and has everything you could possibly want or need to make it a perfect holiday base. Guillaume the owner was very helpful and made sure our stay was perfect. You definitely need a car staying here but the local area is lovely and it is very well located for getting on to the A9 or A12 to explore further afield. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing

My first time to the Lausanne area and this was a perfect spot to rest. The views are some of the best in Europe and the region is amazing to explore. The house was modern and had everything we needed. We had 7 people and more then enough room for us all.

Fantastic modern house close to Montreux

We, as a party of 5 adults, recently rented this house in Blonay, as a base for a short break, and we were certainly not disappointed. The property is exactly as described, being very spacious, nicely decorated and was spotlessly clean for our arrival. The villa is also very well equipped, in respect of equipment for cooking, cleaning, resting and entertainment (the TV system provides a wide selection of channels and the WiFi is extremely fast and reliable). The location is excellent, for a whole host of reasons; Stunning views of the lake and mountains, close to the local supermarkets, easy access to the motorway (for touring), very close to Montreux (if you don’t want to travel far afield) and easily accessible, regardless of which direction you are arriving from. The trip from the airport to the villa is also very straight forward and only takes around 70 minutes by car. The last, but certainly not least, of the things to recommend this place are the hosts and owners, Guillaume and Emma. They are both very friendly and incredibly helpful if you need any advice or suggestions regarding any aspect of your visit and, since they live next door, they are very easy to contact. We can find nothing to fault this beautiful villa and have no hesitation in recommending it. If you are considering this property, but still aren’t sure about taking the plunge and making the booking, our advice would be just stop hesitating and do it. You won’t regret it for a moment.

Serene and beautiful!

This beautiful home is new, superbly clean, and sleek for a stay in the blonay area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there while we traveled through Switzerland by rail. We were able to walk to the rail station each morning, downhill about a mile through the nice town. In the evenings it was late enough (and uphill) to take an uber from vevey, which was easy. The home is in great new condition and was spacious and open. Enjoyed use of laundry machines and the beautiful views of lake Leman. The owners were incredibly accommodating and gracious. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms and showers were very nice. Kitchen well furnished. All was wonderfully clean, which is one of the most important items. I would recommend this house to anyone who would like to have a clean space to relax in while in the Blonay/Lausanne area.

Beautiful, modern home.

This home in Blonay is modern, brand new and well appointed. Highly recommend only staying here if you have transportation. It is high up and not within walking distance of the main downtown. Lovely view of the lake. Nice walk through the houses and lanes. Owner very nice and readily accessible.

Beautiful villa. Convenient, quiet location. Friendly, accommodating hosts.

This is an absolutely lovely place to stay. I don't know why anyone would ever stay in a hotel when this villa is available. It is in a great location, convenient to both Montreux and the Lavaux vineyards. It is spacious, so it is perfect for families or several couples. All the creature comforts are there so you can spend a night in and have a meal at home as well. The hosts, Emma and Guillaume, were so kind and responsive to all my questions. 3 of my friends were visiting our family from the states, and they just loved being able to stay together and have so much space in such a comfortable and beautiful setting. A wonderful all-around experience! Thank you Emma and Guillaume!

2 Erwachsene, 1 Baby (15 Monate). Gastgeber sehr freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Haus sehr sauber, gut und modern ausgestattet, gemütlich. Babybett, -stuhl. Waschmaschine und Trockner im Keller, sehr praktisch! Die Lage sehr ruhig, Supermarkt ca. 1 km weit, Vevey und Montreux ca. 10 Min. entfernt. Direkter Blick zum Genfersee vom Schlafzimmer, wunderschön!

Modern and comfortable villa with stunning views

The villa proved to be more than we could have expected. We travelled in family, six adults altogether, spanning three generations. The house is spacious, well furnished, clean, warm and comfortable. Guillaume, the owner who lives with his family in the same property but totally separated from the rented house , is very helpful and friendly and speks impeccable English. He went out of his way to make us feel at home. In a snowy weekend, for example, he was up first thing in the morning and cleared our pathway to the car across the garden ! He knows the area well and his tips regarding local attractions and surrounding area were very helpful. The property is located on a vantage point in Blonay and offers stunning views of lake Geneva and the Alps. We had a few days with outside temperatures of -8 degrees C during our stay but inside it was very comfortable, as the modern heating system is very efficient. Blonay is a good place to explore the lake Riviera below (Vevey, Montreux, etc) and the nearby Gruyéres area is simply fantastic. We strongly recommend this property for families who want to stay in a quiet place but at the same time near the various area attractions within easy reach. We hope to be able to return there one day.

Un superbe séjour dans cette très belle villa!

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour en famille dans la très belle villa de Guillaume. Moderne, spacieuse, très lumineuse et très confortable, avec des équipements haut de gamme, nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis très bien; Guillaume nous a très gentiment accueillis, mettant à notre disposition ce qui pouvait nous manquer, la maison étant neuve. La localisation est idéale pour découvrir Vevey, Montreux, la Corniche Lavaux et les vignobles et Lausanne. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir!
