The main level has a living room; dining room; kitchen; laundry; full bath; and bedroom with full size bed. The second floor has a master BR suite wit king bed, gas fireplace, shower and Jacuzzi tub. This level has a second bedroom with a queen bed and en suite bath. The walk-out cellar has a kid-friendly rec room with a big screen TV. There are two more bedrooms on this level, one with a queen bed and one with one full-size bed and one twin bed. The two bedrooms share a full bath.

Ski week on Lake Elmore

We enjoyed our stay at this home with a group of friends for our presidents week ski trip. The home fit three families comfortably. The view and location can’t be beat, especially from the kitchen. Even in the winter the lake is beautiful. Door to door this property is less than 40 minutes from the base of Stowe, and only a few minutes from the nearest town which made it very convenient. FYI there is absolutely no cell service, but the home does have WiFi. So if you’re looking to “unplug” and relax this is definitely the place to do it. Finally, I will say that upon check-in there were a few issues that needed to be addressed, and Betsy was extremely responsive and quick to help, which we really appreciated.

Family ski trip

Beautiful house with plenty of space. Truly enjoyed staying in this house. Not too far from Stowe mountain. Would love to come back and stay here in the summer.

Beautiful location, Great stay

Betsy’s lake house is a wonderful place. Beautiful views, comfy beds, warm gas fireplace. Great place to stay while skiing or just to get away. (Cell service was horrible and no one complained) Everything you need to cook with in the kitchen. Plenty of towels and supplies. We caught a mild stretch and definitely needed 4WD on the road (un-paved) but it was fun! Would definitely return!

Great ski weekend

Had a great time skiing at Stowe, about a 30 minute drive. Lake was frozen, took a nice walk on it observing the ice fishing! House was excellent. Large and comfortable for our party of 9. Interesting knick knacks around, certainly conversation pieces reflecting the extraordinary lives of the owners!

Lovely property but starting to show wear. Many ceiling fans didn't work, two toilets run constantly and the flatware and cookware are in dire need of replacement. Glassware is minimal and also in need of a refresh. However the setting is lovely.

Relaxing lakeside retreat

Overall our stay was exactly what we were striving for- enjoy food, drink and relax with nothing to do. The house was spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was well supplied (some pans were getting beyond its usefulness)- happy for the dishwasher- and couldn't beat the view from the kitchen windows. It was the perfect location away from the world but still so close.

Ski/snowboard trip to Stowe 2/8-2/13.

We had a great time! House was large and listing was spot on. We brought a dog and we were able to walk him on the frozen lake and the road in front was also always plowed and rarely traveled by vehicles so that was a plus. I gave 5 stars for communication but I never reached out because we never needed anything. Listing was spot on, house rules were easy to follow and it had everything we needed to cook. Annual ski trip

We ski in Vermont every year with our friends. This house was great and it accommodated all of our needs. Plenty of space and bathrooms. We just loved it. Location is convenient to many mountains and breweries.

Perfect getaway!

We discovered Betsys house while planning a family reunion in the area. It was exactly what we needed; a great location, large enough for all of us and set up perfectly. We loved having our coffee in the morning watching everyone ice fishing and enjoying the snow. The house had everything we could have needed and we really enjoyed our time there. We will definitely be back!

Best Ski Lodge Ever

An absolute gem. We booked for a trip to Stowe, it was the best rental we've ever found. Lots of room for everyone, heated floors, a huge kitchen and dining room, room for the cars in the garage and a gorgeous view of Mt. Elmore and the frozen lake. Even when it rained at the ski resort, being here we were able to make the best of it with plenty to do at the pond.

Excellent winter property

Well appointed, stocked kitchen, warm floors - even in the lowest level, comfortable beds, great views, ample parking, lots of snow, great TV reception, big table that fits everyone for family game night and shared meals. Everyone enjoyed the property and the winter sports - snowshoeing, snowboarding, skiing, snowmobiling, and micro-brewery visiting. Food was excellent at the places we visited. Hard to beat Vermont - and we live in the Adirondacks!

Loved the house more and more as we stayed

Meticulously clean and well organized! Loved the extra powerful gas fireplaces and the jacuzzi!!’ Enjoyed sledding in the backyard, making a snow ⛄️ AND Found your fire 🔥 so we toasted marshmallows for S’Mores. Definitely loved the beautiful views and walks on the lake! The two car garage was great ! Thank you so Much for a great stay !
