Located on a 1/2 acre property with scenic lake and mountain views, this Bed & Breakfast home offers a king suite with 4 pc. bath & verandah with a separate entrance. It offers all you need for a comfortable stay with a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and more. Self catered continental breakfast provided. BBQ and a roll-away cot for a child can be provided upon request .

The home features paintings and pottery done by Laurel Jean. It is within 15 minute walking distance to 3 wineries, a distillery, Manitou Park and Beach, local artisans/potters and the KVR trail.

a gem of a property!
We loved the friendliness and helpfulness of our hosts. The view was amazing, the bed was comfortable and the small "extras" made the stay so relaxing (a few groceries, fresh picked raspberries to welcome us, etc) We loved the walk down the hill to the town and the beach and the walk up the hill to hiking trails. Amazing location to explore the region! Highly recommended

Peaceful, relaxing place in wine country
Arianna and Laurel were amazing hosts. Their place is lovely, and was just as described in their listing. The bed was THE most comfortable bed we’ve slept in. The air conditioning kept the unit at a perfect temperature throughout our stay. Would highly recommend this place to our family and friends.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Ariana was super knowledgeable and helpful in recommending places to eat and information about the nearby beaches. The place was clean, beautiful and comfortable. Definitely recommend!

Great getaway place!
Everything was as it looked in the pictures. The verandah was excellent. Hosts were great, place was clean. I wouldn't cook 3 meals a day here, but for small bites and BBQ dishes it was a ok!

Lovely spot!
This property was exactly as advertised and perfect for what I needed over my weekend stay. The location is really pretty, walkable distance (or a one minute drive) to food or activities in the little town of Naramata, and a breath of fresh air. The room is super clean & nice to relax in, the deck is cozy and quiet, and the kitchenette and morning provisions are a great touch! The host also delivered some freshly picked (and delicious) raspberries to my door. ❤️ I had a great stay and would return!

A cozy and comfortable suite, close to town
Very friendly host, the suite had everything we needed, a pretty view, just like in the photo. Kitchen was nicely stocked with breakfast items.

Way better than a hotel room
Small, cosy, immaculate with a beautiful view of the valley from a large comfortable veranda. The bed was very comfortable. There is no kitchen per se, however a bar fridge and French press coffee make it ideal for a short term stay. Great location in the hills, offering privacy. Terrific hosts!

Excellent location beautiful view
My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay. The place was bright clean and quiet . The bed was comfortable. Breakfast food in the fridge made for great mornings eating out on the deck catching the early morning sun. Laurel is great hostess as well as an artist, her beautiful work of pottery and paint is evident throughout the place. The location was perfect for cycling the area. Road riding is awesome and the access to Kettle valley is a nice climb up from Laurel’s place. It was a great stay and we’ll be back. Mike

Peace and tranquility
Lauren’s home is situated in the beautiful village of Naramata, on a quiet road. While it feels like a million miles from anywhere, it is actually very close to the centre of town and Naramata’s amenities. It is a short drive to The Naramata Bench and dozens of wineries and orchards. The space is very clean, comfortable and inviting. I had a great holiday.

The Veranda Suite has a lovely deck with comfortable seating to enjoy your food and drinks on. The bedroom is spacious. Nestled among the wineries along the Naramata Bench and close the lake for a quick dip to cool off.

Perfect location
We were in Naramata for a wedding and this could not of been a more convenient place for us to stay; within minutes of the actual village so that we could be with other guests for the event but when it was over, we were away in the quiet for the rest of our time. Easy directions, perfectly appointed kitchen/staples, beautiful setting, we would definitely stay here again!

Laurel was an incredible host! Everything from the little welcome sign with my name on it, to the fully loaded fridge and the beautifully set up VRBO space! Great location to be able to walk to all the local wineries as well downtown Naramata 🤗

Wonderful stay in Naramata
Beautiful house and great central location with walking distance to some wineries and Naramata village. Really enjoyed our stay and warm welcome from our hosts. Laurel was so helpful and spoiled us with her garden produce and anything else we asked for! Loved everything and will be back for sure!

Comforts of home
We stayed at GaLa View with our two teenage children. The home was perfect to spend time in the living room, kitchen and back yard as a family, but spacious enough to allow the boys to have their much wanted time away from the parents as well. It truly felt like a home away from home, but in beautiful Naramata.

Beautiful and roomy property
We were two families of four staying at the GaLa Holiday home and we had a great time. Laurel was great about answering all of our questions and check in was easy. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed having lots of space to spread out. We all really enjoyed the use of both the front deck and back deck. The beach was a quick bike ride down the hill but the walk would have been a bit long. All in all, a great family vacation!

Location location
This is a fab spot to stay for a getaway in Naramata. It’s a very clean, homey place with lots of space and good comfy beds. Kitchen and utensils are a little outdated but sufficient. Beautiful art throughout. The decks and views and location in Naramata make this a real gem. We will be back. Laurel is very friendly and accommodating.

Laurel & Gary are the owners of GaLa View Home. They want their guests to feel like they are on a restful, relaxing vacation, and to fall in love with this beautiful region just like they did.

Laurel is a professional artist and teacher with a specialty in pottery & painting. The suites are decorated with some of her works. You might see her during the day doing yardwork with her dog, Bentley.

After living in the Lower Mainland for many years the Vliegs moved here because of the slower life and friendly vibe of Naramata.

Laurel & Gary have lived in 2 different countries and have travelled to over 10 countries around the world. This has helped them understand a travelers needs for a comfortable place to relax when away from home. Their hobbies include: renovating, gardening, reading, walking the dogs, sharing a great cup of coffee or wine & preparing a meal for family or friends!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this area of the Okanagan Valley the first time we saw it with its lake views, rolling hills, deep gullies and rows of vines and fruit trees. In every season there is something to offer in the area and the natural beauty is everywhere.

What makes this property unique

This home has 2 self contained Bed & Breakfast suites available with separate entrances. Each have private living spaces, coffee stations, refrigerator & breakfast table for relaxing. The front verandah off 'The Verandah' King suite has mountain and peek-a-boo views of the lake and the Kettle Valley trails. 'The Patio' King suite has a large patio area with outdoor BBQ. The air conditioning make it a restful retreat from the heat of the summer sun.
