Leaking roof and shower
From the outside the property looks good. Once inside there was evidence of mould in several areas of the property. The paint was peeling in the bedroom and water was getting in around the chimney stack. As a result the wall in the bedroom was mouldy. As my wife is a chronic asthmatic, this was far from ideal. We spent as little time at the house as possible but had to sleep there. When in use the shower leaked through the floor onto the armchair below. I took pictures of the damp areas and the peeling paint, should you wish to see them. I WOULD SUGGEST THAT, UNTIL THE ROOF/CHIMNEY IS REPAIRED, THE PROPERTY SHOULD NOT BE LET. I was very disappointed with this property.

A little hidden gem! Perfect location to explore the beautiful welsh countryside.
A little hidden gem! Perfect location to explore the beautiful welsh countryside. The cottage has everything you need plus plenty of shops within a 5 minute drive. The owners are lovely and big dog lovers which is great! Unlike many ‘dog friendly’ self catering places, they’re happy for you to leave your dog in the house if you want to go out for a meal etc. The stairs are steep but that adds to the character. It’s perfectly quaint and we will definitely be back. Thank you for your hospitality, we had a fantastic Christmas.
