Mountain Park Retreat Toodyay is a new double storey, character built house situated near the Avon River on a beautiful 50 acre block of land. It has uninterrupted views of the Hills and surrounding landscape.

Mountain Park Retreat Toodyay is on the Perth side of Toodyay approximately 75 kilometers (around 1 hours drive) east of Perth.

Mountain Park Retreat is a large two storey Queenslander style character built home, with beautiful Verandahs right around to capture the breathtaking views.

The homestead sleeps 10 people and is perfect to share with other family or friends. It is fully equipped and has all the comforts and features you will love. There is a spa upstairs which takes in the lovely views with balcony also in the master queen bedroom.

It is tastefully decorated comprising of five bedrooms, two bathrooms and two toilets. The living area is open plan which includes a large kitchen, dining room, games room, family room and formal lounge all decorated in modern friendly colours.

Close to the Avon River and Dumbarton Bridge this tranquil 50 acre parcel of private land sets the atmosphere for relaxation, privacy and enjoyment.

There are fabulous features in the home which everyone will enjoy. There is a pool table in the games room and separate Family room with TV/DVD/VHS downstairs and Children's Television room upstairs.

The formal lounge room is very peaceful for reading, relaxing or just enjoying the view quietly.

Outside there is a full size cricket net, plenty of room for golfing, basketball and dart board. Along with the pergola and alfresco area there is a BBQ and outdoor setting.

Spacious country retreat

We had a wedding nearby and we had 10 adult family members stay here. It managed to swallow us all up with plenty of room for your own quiet space. We enjoyed our stay here and I thoroughly recommend it.

Amazing Family and Friends retreat

We stayed at the property for a combined family break. It had something for everyone with the games area, wonderful outdoor space, large clean bedrooms, wonderful kitchen with all the necessary supplies and more and three sitting areas which gave everyone space to relax over the weekend. Hosts were organised with checkin and area information and were easy to contact for queries before and during our stay. We have already enquired to book again for the group next year!

Country cleaning getaway

The surrounds of the property were super fun and interesting! Great outdoor fire pit. The inside was a disaster zone - absolutely filthy, half eaten pie in the oven, dirty bathrooms, had to clean the fridge ourselves, furniture and blinds falling apart… The property was listed as allowing dogs but in reality the owner isn’t keen and tried to charge a fee for them to stay only outside, so maybe better to change it to a dog-free property?

Family Getaway

Dumbarton house was the best setup for our recent family weekend stay. Absolutely large enough to accommodate for our group of 8 . The home came with everything you needed to be comfortable with. The grounds are brilliant, full of things to explore. The awesome view gave you a feeling of so much serenity. We highly recommend Dumbarton for a getaway and definitely enquire about the amazing party shed up the top for functions it looks amazing. A country hide away one must explore.

Mountain retreat

The location was perfect for our event and the size of the venue was outstanding. Inside was clean given it is on a dry property however having to provide your own linen and the quality of pillows, towels and dunas was poor. I would have expected more for$700 a night. It’s a great building and the outside areas are expansive, the old decor and grotty outside lounges don’t help. Having fun things like the table tennis and pool table were great.

Gorgeous farmhouse!

10 ladies away for the long weekend and found the house to be fantastic and spacious

The house was fantastic for 10 of us. Beautiful views and lots to do inside and out. Very close to town and the house is nice and secluded away from any neighbours, so noise was no problem. Would definitely recommend but shame no wifi

Close to Perth, extremely spacious, peaceful and picturesque!

We stayed at this lovely property over the weekend with 3 other families and were delighted to find we all had more than enough space of our own as well as communally. The temperature was very high 30s however we stayed lovely and cool the whole time. Close to both Toodyay and Northam and less than an hour from Midland it is a great location for an extremely peaceful getaway. A cricket net with gear was a great asset to the boys and there is also a pool table and arcade machine as well as great outdoor alfresco area which means there is plenty to keep everyone entertained when they aren't watching one of the 2 great size tvs with plenty of dvd/videos to watch. John and Laureen also stayed in contact during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and there were no issues. We will be back to enjoy this great getaway for longer as we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can not reccomend it highly enough. 😁😁

Beautiful house with great facilities

Six golfing ladies stayed for tournament in Goomalling. It was well & truly worth the 45 minute drive back & forth to the golf course for the three days. Would have loved to have had more time to laze around there.
