About this property

Bonnie Doon Beach Shack is the quintessential Aussie beach holiday destination: neat and clean, self contained, air conditioned beach house with great location and fantastic ocean views, ready for a relaxing family holiday.
There are 2 bedrooms ,1 with a queen bed and 1 with a triple bunk (double bed below, single bed above) plus a fold out double sofa bed in the lounge.
Linen is NOT provided but is available on request.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a new fridge and microwave and all the crockery and cooking essentials provided.
There is a separate bathroom and toilet, Satellite TV, and BBQ provided.
The covered patio area overlooking the ocean is where you will spend most of your time with seating for 12 overlooking the golf course and the coast.
Only a 2 min walk to beach and shop, 150m to the tennis courts and community centre and directly across from the first tee of the golf course.
Lovely reticulated grassed area at front, with a small, low maintenance garden offering privacy and protection from the wind.
Outside pets are welcome. and there is plenty of parking for cars and boat trailers with a newly resurfaced bitumen driveway extending beside and behind the house.

best-equipped place we've stayed at. Often there will be accomm for 6 but only enough dinner plates, coffee cups etc for 4. Go figure! With Bonnie Doon, the supplies of crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, baking dishes etc were huge. Also heaps of sauces, condiments etc (not that we touched any)

Great beach getaway

still not happy

It was difficult to get confirmation of booking, waited 48 hours, not streamlined at all. I still don't have a receipt for tax purposes. Ive requested it twice. No WIFI - Owner says not needed, as they have Telstra. well many people are on the Vodaphone network and its SOS only, cannot use my phone or computer when staying - very substandard service - WIFI should be mandatory in this day and age. Host was pleasant but I had to deal with the above.

A whale of a time.

An extremely well appointed house. If you wanted something just look in the many cupboards and you will find. The vista from the front deck was amazing. The whales heading north put on quite a show.

A nice cosy beach house with beautiful views of the ocean, just one thing not good the electric cooker very old and not very clean.
