Earth Inspired Retreats

Main House
The house has a huge open plan dining and sitting area with air conditioning, together with a large undercover space provided by the wide verandah. The large barbecue on the verandah is ideal for outdoor entertaining and easy meals.The modern fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, electric mixer, toaster, juicer and comes equipped with crockery and cooking utensils. Help yourself to any herbs from our garden.

There are 5 large bedrooms and the bedrooms are : 2 have 2 single beds, 1 has 3 single beds and 2 have a double bed.

There are 3 self-contained one bedroom apartments attached to the main building. Each apartment has a sitting room, kitchenette, full bathroom and a double bed. Each apartment has its own private outdoor seating area.
There is a sofa bed available which can sleep 2 people.
All guests provide their own linen- pillowcases, sheets, doona covers and towels. There are pillows, doonas and extra blankets provided.
We can supply linen at an additional cost of $25 per bed, billed separately dependent on requirements.

There is a games room with a pool table, table tennis and poker table.

Set in 50 secluded acres of untouched bush land with its own fresh water fresh water dam perfect for Summer time swimming and enjoyment. Ideal for bush walking or simply relaxing.

We pride ourselves on designing a purpose built 'earth inspired' retreat serving as 'a truly elegant & peaceful oasis' where anyone can find grounding for connections and inspiration, peace to relax and unwind and the spacious freedom to reconnect with self and others. Phillip House offers all the comfort of modern accommodation and facilities in a peaceful and natural bush setting. We are an ideal choice for groups of up to 18 people looking for space to encourage intimate connections and discussions, family get togethers, or private or group retreat.

Amazing Stay

My large extended family and some friends stayed at this property over the weekend for my mother-in-law‘s 80th birthday party. The property was just perfect. There was a perfect amount of bedrooms and bathrooms as well as ideal extra breakout spaces as well . The balcony and outdoor spaces were perfect for us and the kitchen area was ideal as well. The fire kept us very warm at night. I cannot speak more highly of this accommodation and its value for money. My family had a fabulous time. The communication from the host was also exceptional. I highly recommend Earth Inspired Retreats.

Wonderful family get-together

We were a large extended family group and this property ticked all the boxes. It was well equipped and large enough for everyone to spread out or congregate together. It was a very hot weekend but the aircon and ceiling fans kept us comfortable. An easy drive to shops and wineries was an added bonus.

Quiet in Quorrobolong

We have just had a great family Early Christmas Get Together at Earth Inspired Retreats -13 people with ages from a 3yr old to a 79 yr old over 3 generations. We could not fault it. The booking was easy and the hosts made contact with us 3 times prior to the weekend to ensure we had full information. Very professional. The travel instructions were clear and accurate. Road access was very good although the last 400 or so metres (unsealed) down to the venue may be difficult for some cars in heavy rain or after a major storm. Our 4 cars had no trouble at all despite one being a quite low clearance sports sedan. We will happily stay here again.

Quorrobolong, that's where we belong!

We love Phillips House. This was our second stay, so this last visit was like coming home! The 'House' fitted our family easily, and that is all 20 of us! The separate 'apartments' suited two families and the other couples and singles were easily accommodated. We spread ourselves around in the lounge room with the wood heater keeping us cosy; the kitchen and BBQ passing every test. We will be back!

Great communication for booking, queries and contact whilst at the accommodation. House is tired and needs repair and good clean but large and great for a large group. Billiard table and table tennis are broken and could not be used - walk across the paddock to them was under water.

Our 2nd visit for a family get-together (20 of us). Very clean, beds for all, great kitchen & dining area. Plenty of outdoor seating areas and quiet spots for time-out if needed. A good family weekend!

Large space for family and friends, we really enjoyed the lounge room opening up to out the back where the kids ran around and played in easy view of us. House had all we needed with full kitchen, large bbq and enough bathrooms.

A Relaxing Getaway

Our stay at Phillip House was very enjoyable. We went there for two nights and three days with several other families. All the facilities were excellent - heaters in every room, a working kettle and stove, multiple bathrooms kept very clean and a fine TV. There was also a fireplace which gave the room a cosy atmosphere, much appreciated by eveeryone since it was winter. There were also games and DVDs in a cupboard and an old but still working organ in the sitting room. Nick, the owner, was very responsible and informative. We'd love to come back!

We love the place great location This place is good for big groups and big families all in one house just needs a little bit of TLC little bit of cleaning. Wi-Fi very hard no reception have to go up the hill a little bit to get reception if that But overall I would come back here thanks Philip 😊

Getaway with friends

We enjoyed the stay overall and were very impressed with the size of the house and how it comfortably fit 20 guests. Loved the large living area. More attention could have been paid to cleanliness especially in the kitchen and bathroom areas. The green gaming shed also had a very bad smell which needs attention. However, we loved the wildlife that surrounded the house and the beautiful views. The property was also very easy to find with the directions given. Would recommend and stay here again.

Lovely Abode but needs upgrades

We(18 of us..aka 5 families) stayed in the property over Dec 2021 holidays for 8 days. We had the entire house and attached units to ourselves. The property itself is located on a wonderful, serene plot of land. Plenty of wildlife running through. Its totally off the grid property with internet running at the lowest speed. Lovely home to unwind from the daily chaos. Few issues in the house though that need a upgrade. The couch in main living room, 2 of the seats are broken..one sinks in and the other seats metal frame is up so hurts to sit on that. There are 2 fridges in kitchen. Both without freezer. We asked Nic for one and he got us a freezer chest. The dishwasher doesn't clean well at all. We had to hand wash most of them after running the most intensive cycle. Kitchen is well equipped with glasswares, pots, dishes bowls etc. One Aircon is in the main room and other one at end of hallway. Fans do work, but as such not good enough for air circulation We had carried fans for us. Also TV n DVD players had no batteries and free to air channels wouldn't work. The shed which has sports equipment has no ventilation..Has many games but quite a few were broken. The hot water supply is great given we were18 of us taking showers. Apart from above, its a lovely house to go off grid and truly relax. The property owner/manager Nic was very communicative and helped us all the way.

Overall stay was wonderful. We couldn't use the two units as there was no access from inside.

Experience was wonderful location is isolated enough to have a great gateway. Owner was always available. We couldn't use two units as there was no access from inside and there was no sign outside aswell which could have been helpful.however we may consider this property again.

Great with a few suggestions

Plenty of bedrooms. Linen option was helpful. Beautiful property in remote location but still accessible to winery region 30min. Nice wood fire and fire pit. Pretty clean and comfortable. Transparency in the description about no mobile signal and virtually no data on wifi would have been a decision point for our group of young adults- wifi was selected on search as a criteria. No empty cupboards to store any food apart from the fridge so had to leave in bags which made it awkward. Other people’s food in cupboards and fridge a minor challenge not to get mixed up with ours. Overall a great place for families and multiple groups, especially if you aren’t fussed about taking a tech break from internet.

Great Stay

9 of us went up for my 31st birthday. We had a great time. The property is lovely. Lots of space. You can see kangaroo's all over the place. Great set up overall. Would love to go back and stay here.
