About this property

An idyllic waterfront property just four hours drive North of Sydney. Escape to the peace and quiet of Riverside on the Hastings River at this stunning four bedroom home.
While sitting at the 8 seat gazebo watch the dolphins swim by, eagles soar and hear the birds sing. You can truly shut the world out if you wish.
This property is truly amazing with it's own beach and private jetty with mooring poles. The swimming pool is set in a tropical garden with lush gardens throughout the property. There are two sun beds around the pool to relax on.
It offers open plan living with a well equipped kitchen, just like being at home.There are four bedrooms, master has a king bed a huge walk-in robe and ensuite, ceiling fan, air conditioned and has a TV. 2nd bedroom(Queen bed) has its' own ensuite and is air conditioned. Third Bedroom also has a Queen bed with ceiling fan and the fourth bedroom consists of a single bed, bunks with a double on the bottom and a single on top also with ceiling fan. Laundry has a machine and dryer,if needed for your use. There is garaging for 2 cars with a huge driveway that will accommodate more. The home has a family room with air con & wood fire and TV which is next to the kitchen, formal dining room, formal lounge , a full size billiard table, meals area and a TV room at the wing of the house. Boat shed can accomodate a small boat or jet ski and room for canoes. There are slate tiles throughout the living areas and carpet in the bedrooms.
WE OFFER A FERRY PASS THAT ALLOWS ONE CAR TO TRAVEL FREE WHILST YOU ARE STAYING.
If you want to leave paradise there are lovely swimming beaches that are patrolled.
There are many local attractions which include Timbertown at Wauchope, Billabong Koala Wildlife Park, cruises along the river and canals, ten pin bowling, skate park or why not take the children to Ricardoes Tomato & Strawberry farm and let them pick their own strawberries, horse riding, cinema, Glasshouse Entertainment Centre, wineries or for the more adventurous why not try sky diving or go for a ride in a Jetfighter. There are many different types of restaurants in town.

Best Family Vacation Ever

Riverside is hands down the most family friendly holiday out there. Fishing of the house jetty, pool, tubing, snooker, fully equipped kitchen, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, not to mention the punt over to the North Shore.

Family holiday

The property was amazing, great location and view, very tidy and everything was easy to find.Narelle and Chris were fantastic to deal with and help with any questions or concerns we had. Paradise at Waterside

This house is amazing! Very clean, exactly as described & fabulous location. Each room had its own bathroom. We had 3 couples stay & it was awesome. I would definitely recommend this property. Narelle was also very easy to deal with.

Perfect waterfront Location

This property was great, very spacious with beautiful gardens. ramp large floating pontoon that made launching and retrieving our jet skis easy. Owner very attentive and easy to deal with with excellent communication.

A beautiful break

We had a wonderful stay at this serene place on the river. My husband and son absolutely loved fishing off the jetty every day with great success. The house was spacious and the best equipped (especially for the kitchen) place I have ever stayed at. I did yoga each day out near the pool and it was stunning. Thanks for having us.

We had the best time! Beautiful location - car ferry easy peasy and always running. House fully equipped including kitchen supplies for cooking, tea etc Magnificent sunsets - bring your fishing rods and wine!! Thank you to our wonderful hosts.

A stunning riverside retreat

Being on the river was just beautiful. Dolphins, turtles, fish and easy access for boat and SUPs. So much to do. Kids loved the pool. Layout of house is perfect for two families. Well equipped kitchen and clean throughout. Pool table added bonus. Although out of town, easy drive on ferry but didn't really need to head into town for much. Highly recommend, the ideal summer holiday house. A must if you have a boat!

Amazing place for family get togethers

Me and my family once a year go away to holiday homes to have a great catch up and hangouts. This year has got to be one of the best gatherings we’ve all been too due to a variety of factors. One; the house is absolutely gorgeous, it is extremely spacious. There are lots of things you can do in the house alone; play billiards, swim in the beautiful pool, fish off the wharf, kayak in the river that is easy accessible ( and child proof as well). I caught two flat heads, and two silver bream fish off the wharf. There is a beautiful beach just ten minutes away where you can take your 4wd on the sand. It was absolutely amazing and I recommend this house to everyone that wants something that’s has loads of activities and is also extremely relaxing! Will definitely be back in the future! Thank you Narelle and Chris for opening up your gorgeous home to us!

A quality home ideal for our family get together. Exceptionally clean and well equipped.

Highly recommended if you like a quieter alternative, we lazed by the pool, enjoyed a game of billiards, a bbq, excellent fishing and close enough to drive into Port for a coffee & supplies. Great family retreat and 5 star quality.

Fantastic short Holiday at Riverside

Narelle was very supportive throughout the time we stayed at her place. We really had a good time at Riverside. Best sunsets

We had a great Easter long week away with our family. There was 3 families in total And plenty of room for us all without being on top of each other. Multiple lounge rooms and areas to sit and relax. A fantastic house which never stopped catering for our needs. Thanks Chris and Narelle for all ur care and efforts to ensure we had a great stay. The pictures online of this house don’t do it enough justice.

A beautiful hidden Gem

Riverside is a well appointed home that you just won’t want to leave. A highlight for our family was access to the river from the personal pontoon, we had a great time fishing. This is definitely the place to go if you are looking to escape the rest of the world. Hibbard ferry being closed made the trek to town slightly inconvenient, but is not a reflection of the property, more the location and should be considered more closely depending on what type of holiday you are after. Narelle and Chris go that little bit further with the extra touches that make your stay welcoming and personalised. Highly recommend this property.

Great family and friends getaway

This was my second visit. It was so good the first time going fishing with my mates that this time we all bought our families and again had a fantastic time. Great entertaining areas, multiple chill out spaces and well positioned for everyone to catch at least one fish. Cannot recommend highly enough. Everyone was extremely impressed with the amenities and obvious quality of the house. Will definitely be back again.

Fabulous property

We had an amazing stay at Narelle’s place on the river. The house is amazing and the pool is perfect. Bedrooms are large and comfy and it felt very safe for the kids. The property is huge with multiple sitting rooms and separate dining. Loved the layout and sitting out on the jetty in the evening with an incredible sunset! Highly recommend!

Paradise on Riverside is the perfect property name

It certainly is paradise. Myself & 4 old school friends spent the weekend for a catch up along with some fishing and golf. The house is spacious and has all the amenities you could need. We certainly made good use of the billiards table, pool, BBQ and gazebo. We were able to keep the boat locked safely in the boat garage overnight and in the morning it was simply a matter of launching using the houses own private ramp & floating jetty, couldn't have been any more convenient. The house was very clean and Narelle was fantastic even surprising us with a little welcome to enjoy out under the gazebo after we arrived. Would 100% recommend Narelle and this wonderful property to anyone.

Riverside reverie

Wonderful,relaxing property. Fabulous location on the river. Relax in the pool watching the river traffic and bird life. If that’s not enough or if the weather turns nasty try your hand on the full size billiard table. Quiet location. Prepare to relax getting one of the two car ferries servicing this side of the river. Bliss!

The property exceeded our expectations. We can’t praise Narelle’s hospitality enough, it was second to none. The house had everything we needed to enjoy a great week away. We booked again for November without any hesitation!
