Just 2kms from Laggan Village

Laggan Estate is a country retreat that has been lovingly restored. Fresh paint and new facilities throughout.
Our aim is to take care of all the little details so that your stay is as relaxing as it should be when surrounded by the beautiful landscape of Laggan. Laggan Estate offers two bedrooms, open plan living, luxury linen, laundry facilities, new bathroom and kitchen with all the amenities you would expect to find.
Sit back and relax on the deck over looking Laggan Village or in the cooler months warm yourself around the fire pit. Minutes from the village of Laggan where you can indulge in spectacular restaurants and cafes, visit the infamous Laggan Pub or simply stroll around country markets. As a courtesy, we can even organise transportation for our guests who wish to wine and dine at the Laggan Hotel without the hassle of driving.
Our goal is for our much loved cottage to feel like a home away from home and for our guests to leave feeling refreshed and inspired by what our local area has to offer.

Garden Show girls

A fab location to visit the stunning local gardens of Binda, Crookwell and surrounds during annual Open Garden Festival - and to catch up over dinner and wine. We enjoyed dinner at nearby Laggan Pub - but Optus phone customers beware, there is no coverage. Our social media detox was enhanced by a lovely bottle of red generously left for our enjoyment by our host.

Beautiful and peaceful

Our family throughly enjoyed our stay here. Meg really thought of everything to ensure a comfortable stay, from the milk of preference, the heater going upon arrival, the delicious home made jams that our daughter absolutely loved, the gorgeous welcome hamper that included so many delightful and thoughtful home made goodies right to the beautiful note that truly touched my partner and father in law ( we were visiting for a funeral). The property is well appointed and conveniently located to everything there is to do and see in Laggan which was pretty much the icing on the cake for us. I can honestly say, that this is the first property we’ve stayed at that I couldn’t fault at all, not a single fault to be found! If your looking for some where that’s renovated but has maintained it’s original charm, is well located, ultra comfortable, clean, peaceful, a warm and welcoming host and surrounded by the serenity of the country side, then this is definitely the place for you. You most definitely will not leave disappointed !

Weekend Stay

The property was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It was beautifully presented . There was everything there that you could need . Literally less than 5minutes to Laggan and 10minutes to Crookwell. Phone reception was on the minimum but that was a positive as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay . Thankyou

Stunning views and beautiful host!

Really exceeded expectations! The cottage is beautifully appointed and has those thoughtful touches like electric blankets, fire pit and board games. The best part of the trip was our wonderful host Meg from the marshmallows and damper for the camp fire, the sparklers for the kids and the opportunity to watch the family shear the sheep, nothing was too much trouble. The views and fresh air was stunning.

A relaxing farm getaway with great hospitality and the luxuries you would expect from a hotel stay

We were so lucky to find Meg's farm cottage for our family of 4. We have 2 kids - 5 and 2 and wanted somewhere away from the crowds where we could switch off and still have our creature comforts (luxury linen, toiletries, aircon, and a fully renovated kitchen!). Meg our host was lovely and made our trip perfect - she was there to answer our questions days before we arrived, packed us a picnic hamper with local goodies to enjoy on the farm and brought us over damper to cook over the firepit! What a great experience this was! The kids had a great time running around and watching the sheep and we had a relaxing stay - the sunsets were amazing! Thanks again Meg and we hope to stay with you again soon!

Christmas near Laggan with carrots and home made Baileys in fridge!

Lovely farm cottage stay

We had a lovely stay in this cottage on the hill in the middle of a working sheep property. The cottage is well equipped and Meg is a lovely, welcoming host. We liked waking up to birdsong and watching the sheep. There were lots of lovely inclusions and we appreciated getting away from it all but being only 2 minutes from Laggan village and 10 minutes out of Crookwell. Thanks!

Fantastic short break

Amazing weekend at Laggan Estate

We really enjoyed our weekend escape. The house is modern and well equipped, and the beds so, so comfy with quality linen. The welcome pack was a lovely treat and the fresh jonquils filled the house with a beautiful scent. The views are wonderful, sitting around the fire pit soaking up the relaxation and there is so much to see in nearby towns. Thank you Meg for making our stay a perfect much needed escape, we can't wait to return.
