About this property

Perfect little getaway, our cabin has everything you might need for a weekend away or longer stays. Located 15 minutes west of Golden, 2 minutes from the Trans-Canada Hwy. Nestled in the trees on a lovely 4 acre property "Snowberry Cabin" is 240 square feet with 2 floors and beautiful mountain views from the deck. It is in a private location and has a fully equipped kitchen which includes an apartment size fridge and stove, coffee maker, tea kettle, blender, coffee/tea, and essentials. Living room area has satellite t.v., (apple tv) is available couch and chair. The bedroom is located on the upper loft floor, has a queen bed and double futon and the bathroom is equipped with a shower. Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is a 30 minute drive and Goldens biking trails are even closer. Our house is located on the same property if you should need something, but we each have our private space.
We are within 2 hours of Banff, Yoho, Kooteney, Glacier, Mount Revelstoke and Jasper National parks and some of the worlds most spectacular views! Come stay with us and experience the Rockies first hand!

Cozy cabin

We enjoyed our short stay at Snowberry Cabin. It was peaceful being in the mountains, yet still close to the town of Golden to enjoy our adventures. We would stay again when in Golden.

Cozy hideaway!

Cute cabin with lots of privacy, mountain views and a lovely outdoor area to enjoy. Had everything we needed. Only a short trip to explore Golden and nearby walking trails. Would recommend to couples looking for a quiet getaway! Thank you to Cindy for her quick responses to our questions via message.

a great getaway

We have greatly enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It is compact, but very well laid out - the two of us didn’t feel cramped at all. The cabin is in a private, wooded setting, just off a quiet road, with easy access to Golden. It was quiet and restful. All the basics were provided, and our hostess Cindy was welcoming and attentive to our needs. There is a full kitchen, but no microwave, so plan accordingly. The ladder “stairs” to the loft may be hard to navigate for guests with mobility or balance problems. All in all, highly recommend, and would stay again!

The property was very clean! Cute Cabin set in the woods with a Mountain View! We never left for 2 days! Much needed rest! If ever back this way will definitely stay again! Property managers were super nice and would recommend this place to anyone!! Five Stars all around! Must see!

Hubbys romantic bday present

We loved the stay but the lay out didnt serve us at all.we had a large pupp n beds were all upstairs. Steps were steep for pupp to climb. There was a futon bed upstairs as well. All they need tp do is have an option to bring it downstairs. No one after a long day of hike wanna sit on an uncomfortable couch. Laying n watching tv is the best. In a nutshell my hubby slept upstairs n pupp n i slept downstairs. That was our romantic times☹️My feet hung on the couch .wss uncomfortablen back hurt. Remove the couch n bring the futon downstairs please. Its a dog friendly place mayb build a dog run. Couldn't leave pour pupp without a leash.

Beautiful little cabin tucked away in the woods.

Great location for skiing and hiking with a wood burning fireplace for evening relaxation. Very helpful and friendly hosts, we hope to book again next ski season.

10/10 could not recommend enough

ADORABLE cabin in an absolute winter wonderland. Super clean, nicely warmed by both a wood fire stove and electric baseboard heating. Beautiful views and nice hiking trails nearby. I would give higher than a five star rating but unfortunately it's caps out at that. Highly HIGHLY recommend, you won't be disappointed.

Very cozy cabin!

We loved our time at Snowberry Cabin, it was cozy and comfortable, the loft was a very cool area to hang out, and Skiddles the cat even came to play lol he (or she?) was a welcome guest. Hosts were very friendly, would definitely return!

Fantastic cabin!

Couldn’t be happier with our stay . The cabin was perfect for our hiking trip to the Rockies . The location is quiet with views of mountains & woods around you . Loved using the wood burning stove during the cold mornings . Town of Golden is 10 minutes away so you have food stores & restaurants making it very convenient. Also about 40 minutes away from Glacier National park & Yoho . Cindy was always available for any questions we had & gave us great hiking locations for us ti check out. We honestly couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else on our trip out there . Flet like a true Canadian Rockie trip in every way!
