Relaxing retreat week

I stayed at the cottage on my own for the week. A great location, around the corner from Jibbon Beach in a quieter part of Bundeena, a nice walk to the shops and RSL club. The cottage had everything I needed. The cottage caretaker was very responsive in handling a faulty kettle. I'd come and stay again.

Great cabin

Lovely short holiday

We stayed at Jackson Cottage for 3 nights and loved it. Close to the beach, close to Aldi and some restaurants, a short ferry to Cronulla, just a great location. Very good communication with PETA who was very hospitable. Recommend this home highly

Good location.

Great location, very quiet. Close to the beaches and shops. The parking space is big enough to fit a large SUV. Unfortunately both me and my wife found the bed to be very uncomfortable. The bed lacked support and was so sagged that we decided not to stay the final night. Some other minor inconveniences - such as the bathroom vanity mirror being to high up on the wall for us to properly use - were less of a hassle. With some small work the place could be a real gem, but we felt that it fell a bit short of 5 star review.

major disappointment

On arrival at the property the door locks could not be opened. Could not contact owner/host. Turns out she was overseas and left no one else to help out. Evidently we had been given the wrong codes. We contacted Stayz and they did not know the new lock codes and so booked us alternative accommodation in Cronulla (as there was nothing else available in Bundeena). We did receive full refund from owner but the stay in Cronulla could not offer us the peaceful beach setting we had been looking forward to in Bundeena. A most unsatisfactory experience.

Cute little granny flat

Single room with its own bathroom out the back of a larger house. Clean and close to the beach. Bed is extremely soft and has put my back out so be aware if you can’t sleep on soft beds.

Winter Long Weekend

We enjoyed our stay at Jackson's Bundeena, the little cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed for a weekend away.
