Fully equipped, two identical log cabins sit side by side just steps away from the infamous Madison River. Each cabin has it's own private entrance, loft bedroom with queen bed and an additional comfy bed hides away in the living room couch. The property is conveniently located close to Ennis, Montana, the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park, many lakes such as Cliff and Wade Lakes, Quake and Hebgen Lakes and Henry's Lake in Island Park, Idaho. Many opportunities to explore the outdoors within a 5-10 minute drive. Also, located within walking distance to the Grizzly Bar & Grill for delicious dining in the heart of the South Madison Valley. Beautiful property!

This was our first time staying at this property, and it exceeded our expectations! The beds were comfortable, it had everything we needed, and it was a convenient location for hunting or fishing. The owners were extremely nice and easy to reach if we needed anything. We will definitely rent this property again!

Madison Magic

Idyllic Madison River lodge in the most fantastic location. The cabin is well equipped, very clean and tidy with everything that we needed for our ten day stay. Within easy reach of Ennis, Yellowstone National Park and benefits from a local restaurant (200 meters). We enjoyed meeting our very helpful hosts.

Cabin by the Madison River

This is truly a cabin by the river with such breathtaking views! Couldn’t ask for a prettier scenery to wake up to every morning! The only thing I would have to say is don’t arrive after dark like we did! It’s so dark and not easy to find! Other than that, we are very grateful to have celebrated part of our 40th wedding anniversary here in this beautiful state of Montana!

Second Stay

Second time I’ve stayed in this great cabin. While it’s nestled among a camping/RV site the location on the bank of the Madison makes it feel completely private. It’s super peaceful and has everything you need for a great stay. The fishing right in front of the house is stellar and there is always a big (18-20”) brown hiding among the shoreline boulders. I’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful river view

The cabin was great. Clean and just as described. Location was secluded. We knew that when we booked it. The restaurant nearby, Grizzly something, was over priced and sub par food. We would not recommend.

Montana is beautiful.

We had a wonderful time. I was so relaxing to hear the river and see the mountains. My husband caught tons of fish right in front of the cabin. Nice way to end our Yellowstone visit. Thank you for sharing.

Perfect Relaxation

We had a fantastic time using it as our gateway to Yellowstone and the needed relaxation in the afternoon/evening. The views were absolutely fantastic and the cabin was just right for the four of us.

Quick Remote Work and Fishing trip

Spent three nights at the cabin and it’s such a great location. The fishing right outside the cabin was great and some large Browns hang out among the boulders. The Cabin was also simple, clean, and comfortable. Perfect for staying on the Madison but reasonably close to W. Yellowstone. A great choice if your in the area.

Very cozy and amazing hosts!

Such a nice place and so cozy! Great communication with Greg and Tracie and they went above and beyond to make our trip special! We went during a time that the may flies were really bad (mid July) so we couldn’t use the deck much in the evening but everything else was perfect! We didn’t realize at first that the river is catch and release only when booking but we found nearby creeks to fish and it sounds like many great fishing lakes around as well! Overall, it was a beautiful cabin and excellent hosts! Also a scenic drive to west Yellowstone.

Great spot

The cabin is located near some great spots to visit…. Lots of water for fishing, lakes for kayaking/paddle boarding, cute little towns with some great food and, of course, Yellowstone. The cabin has what you need to stay comfortably.

Life as it Should Be

Our kind & gracious hosts did all they could to ensure our every need was satisfied. From the spice cabinet to the cooking ware, from the hair dryer to the gas grill, we were wanting for nothing. Even mosquito repellant! The roaring river & the wildlife makes this a go-to location for any city-dweller wanting to escape into the country. They were even kind enough to leave alternate suggestions when Yellowstone closed.

Most beautiful and amazing place to stay. We even woke up to snow one day. The Rich family are the best host. The cabin is exactly as described. We had the best time! Close to Yellowstone which was wonderful. The Madison River is so relaxing and beautiful. Fun to fish. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin. We definitely want to go back someday.
