Memorial Weekend Getaway

Locust Grove

All was nice, except the step downs. I fell from the foyer and was pretty banged up and bruised,hurt both knees. Kind of dangerous. Our whole party complained about that. Otherwise, lovely.

Wedding guests getaway

We were in town for a wedding, and this was a perfect spot for my family. Beautiful and very spacious. We enjoyed our stay very much. Beautiful views and very comfortable!!!

Kitchen was poorly furnished.No paper towels, no serving spoons or large spoons, glassware for 4. Cabin sleeps 8, but only seating for 4 at dining table. No lighting in dining room.

Just a weekend away from our lives

We loved our stay.. it was a lovely veiw!!! Very roomy and spacious.. a perfect place to get away!! Very quite neighborhood. We will definitely stay again. The owner was amazing to work with..

We were totally satisfied with our stay and have already recommended this place to friends. The property was at a nice price point, was beautifully decorated and has a gorgeous view. The host was attentive and friendly when we had questions and we had a lovely time.

Lovely view

We only had a small problem with the height of the indoor step into the bedrooms and the step down just inside the front door. We are in our seventies and do well if we have a hand rail or hand hold. We loved the peace and quiet and large windows overlooking the lake.
