Holiday rentals near Spirou Provence Park

I had a wonderful time in Avignon. A large part of the reason was staying in this classic building in an area that is close to everything, yet feels like a little homely precinct (with few tourists)that you're part of. My room was very cosy as a solo traveller. As to host Fabienne, I can't thank her enough for her kindness and generosity. She helped me when I needed dental assistance and went to great lengths to access it for me. I wil remember my stay with great fondness. pplocale that has few tourists

My husband and I stayed in this cosy cottage for a month. We also hosted a friend here for a couple of weeks. The cottage is spacious, full of natural light, clean and set in an a large green meadow! The tranquility of this place made every day perfect! The two bedrooms with their own showers and toilets were modern . The living / dining area was comfortable. The kitchen well equipped and we were able to cook whenever we felt like it. The host Chantal is warm, welcoming and an absolute treasure. She was ever so kind to us.It was clear she wanted us to have the best time! Chantal organised French lessons gave me a French cooking lesson in her own kitchen , invited us to drinks with her charming husband Gaby and daughter Marjorie. Chantal gave us insight s into places to visit around the region and dining options. All in all we had the most wonderful stay in this charming cottage with its own private entrance and outdoor BBQ and dining area. The Old City of Avignon is a fascinating place packed with culture, history, shopping and superb restaurants. We did excursions to towns and villages like Aix en Provence, Roussillon etc all just a day’s excursion .So the location, just 15 minutes from the old town of Avignon and close to supermarkets, Sunday farmers markets and interesting historical sites is fantastic. We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the property. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We did need to ask for bath towels as these are not provided. Also a 50 Euro cleaning fee is imposed if you do not perform the cleaning yourself. Overall, a good stay and recommend to others.

This gîte was the best we have ever stayed in, and we come to France regularly. It was exactly as described and shown in the photos, but even better. It is a beautifully designed house with so many special touches - certainly not just your usual holiday let. The gîte was beautifully clean throughout and felt like a home away from home. We had two wonderful weeks here and were sorry to leave. The accomodation was excellent: The kitchen and dining area led onto the courtyard. Our joy was to come home after a day's touring and enjoy our apéro sitting in the courtyard admiring the view of the cliffs with chateau perched on top. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and even included a Delonghi coffee maker. Downstairs there was a very comfortable and large living room with a view. The two bedrooms (both ensuite) were separated allowing for privacy - ideal if you are couples travelling together. There was even a separate laundry. Both bedrooms had comfortable Queen sized beds and the ensuites were stylish as well as functional. Air conditioning was available on both levels. The location was superb with so many enjoyable day trips from Le Beaucet. Lots of opportunity for walks from here too. The village itself was lovely, with the gîte just inside the ramparts. While the gîte was superb, what made this stay truly special was the welcome we received, and continued to receive, from Catherine the owner. Charming converted farmhouse set in large well manicured gardens with a very inviting swimming pool. A truly delightful property. Ghislaine was very welcoming and prepared magnificent meals served in the magical garden setting. We wanted to take her home wth us. Ghislaine also suggested local itineraries for us. We cannot speak highly enough of Ghislaine, her property, her cooking, her helpfulness.
