Second time back for a chill 20th with my friends and partner. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for the weekend! The animals and river are amazing bonuses with the cabin- we've all decided we'll be back again and hopefully in time to see the new baby donkey!

The property was exactly what we needed as a base for our Kokoda support team. It was clean, tidy and a great location. The owners were very approachable and accomodating to our situation and needs. Highly recommend this property to anyone.

Graeme, the host, was a friendly, responsive, helpful and very personable. The vista view of the Gold Coast coastline was magical. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The Bush Retreat is in an ideal location to explore the Gold Coat, Surfers Paradise, Tambourine Mountain with biking tracks in the Hinze Dam area. The accommodation is spacious and well equipped for 4 people with ample parking. Beds are comfortable. Water pressure is good with ample hot water. It’s an ideal place to kick back and relax with a bottle of wine in a lovely tropical garden setting with a lot of bird life. We had a lovely time here and the place has huge potential. Recommend.

We had three nights away for my mother’s 60th. The six of us wanted cute, comfortable accommodation close to Gallery Walk, and that’s exactly what we got! Absolutely gorgeous two storey property in a convenient location to shops and cafes. Great sized kitchen, super spacious downstairs level where we did most of our hanging out, and the most comfortable beds ever! The bonus was having half a dozen kookaburras visiting us on the verandah each morning. Emiliano was super accommodating and communication was always speedy. We’ll definitely be back!
