What a lovely week we had in the vacation house La Cabana!

This was the perfect place for celebrating my Mother's 75th birthday with the family. She invited us to spend a week in La Cabana. We all arrived at Friday afternoon from Belgium and The Netherlands, some of us by plane, it's just a little more than 1 hour from the airport, some of us by car, some of us already spent some time in the area. We were with 12 people. Also 2 dogs joined the party. We cooked, we talked, we laughed, we sang, we played and we swam. Walking the dogs in the morning through the hills, we had great fun playing padel and cooled down in the pool until late in the evening. We went out for 1 day to Barcelona, and 1 day to Andorra. Each morning we bought fresh bread and had a coffee in the charming old centre of the village Casserres, only a 10 minute walk away. The last day we enjoyed a lovely paella lunch at restaurant La Plaça. The week was too short...
