About this property

The rural accommodation "La Cateta" is part of the Arroyovil Estate dating back to the 17th Century. Set among hundred year old olive trees and holm oak covered hills, you will be able to enjoy the total peace and tranquillity of the area. Just a few kilometres away, you will find the monumental Cities of Úbeda and Baeza, and the Oil Museum, in the Laguna Estate.

During the months of November and December you are welcome to join in with the olive collecting process, and try our own extra virgin olive oil "Conde de Argillo", some bottles of which are given to our guests as presents. La Cateta has an apartment for six people in the Sierra Nevada ski resort in Granada, which is only an hour away.

Peaceful, beautiful, rustic farmhouse stay

We had a nice time staying at this property. It is peaceful and lovely. We stayed here for a paragliding competition at 7 Pilillas between Pegalajar and Mancha Real. We found that it worked well for us :) The nearest grocery store is about 20 minutes away in Mancha Real. We cooked dinner at the house most nights, and we had everything we needed. The accommodations are simple and not luxurious. You will find it's not perfectly clean and there may be flies and ants sometimes. It is a rustic old farmhouse, not a luxury accommodation. For us, this was good! The beds were firm and comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor porch area. There is actually no pool. They should update the listing. The pool was empty and looked like it had not been used in a long time. The host was nice and helpful. Thank you for a good stay.
