About this property

Peaceful family retreat

The space
The spacious private deck is the perfect place to have a cup of coffee, read a book, or just sit and enjoy the sounds of nature. Roast a hot dog and some marshmallows over the outdoor fire pit. Spend your days playing and exploring the outdoors and your nights watching a movie next to the rustic wood burning fireplace. All the modern conveniences you need close by, but feels like you are far away from everything.

The master bedroom has a king bedroom with its own private bathroom. The guest bedroom is furnished with a queen bed. There is a bunk room perfect for the kids to share. There is an additional roll-away bed in the bunk room closet. The hall bath has a tub/shower combo. Will accommodate 7 guests very comfortably.

Enjoy dining and shopping in nearby Andrews (10 minutes), Murphy (25 minutes) and Bryson City (40 minutes). Visit a local brewery, winery or take a trip on the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. Also located within 20 minutes of the Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino. If you want to venture a little further, the home is less than 2 hours from Asheville. There is literally something for everyone to enjoy!

Beautiful Property

Came as a quick getaway with the family for a few days and the property didn’t disappoint. Beautiful views and the location was perfect. Had a small issue on the third day which was quickly resolved by the property owner . Would recommend to anyone needed the perfect getaway, we will definitely be booking here again in the future.

Beautiful and quiet property within close proximity to many outdoor activities!

We just spend Memorial Day weekend at this property and had a relaxing weekend! The house was clean and equipped with all of the necessities we needed. The house is surrounded by trees and does have a steep driveway which we were able to make with our suv just fine. Our kids especially loved the treehouse in the back of the house! We spent our time during the day at the Nantahala outdoor center which was about a 15-20 minute drive from this property. We liked this property because it was quiet and secluded and was a great place to relax after a busy day of outdoor activities. Thank you for the enjoyable stay!

Beautiful house, comfy stay

Wonderful house with everything we needed. Hosts were easily reached and helpful. Nice quiet location, kids loved the treehouse. Beds were comfy although the pillows were a little flat for my taste. :) All the amenities you need, wonderful location for seeing the sights, and definitely felt like home away from home!

Beautiful and Peaceful Home

We truly enjoyed our stay here. My extended family lives in the area, but doesn't have enough room for us to visit. This home was close to them, and roomy enough that they could visit with us there during the day and it felt like an extended family vacation. It's in a beautiful location. The kids loved the treehouse and my favorite part was the big dining table. Thank you for sharing this home!

Nice place to stay

My family and I had a great time. The cabin is located in a community not far outside of Andrews, NC. There are some spots in Andrews to go to eat and drink as well as hiking throughout the area. We would stay at this cabin again.

A lovely property in a beautiful location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Moose Tracks. The communication prior to our stay was excellent, with some great recommendations for things to do during our visit. The property was perfect for our two families - very well equipped with everything we needed and with very comfortable beds. Unfortunately we had rain each evening which meant we weren't able to enjoy the beautiful deck as much as we would have liked - this is an asset to the property and would be lovely on a dry evening! Our girls loved exploring the tree house and surrounding area. All in all we had a lovely few days exploring the NC countryside and Smoky Mountains from a lovely base. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend a visit and hopefully might return one day in the future!

Honeymoon Retreat

My husband and I truly enjoyed this beautiful cabin! It’s peaceful and secluded, but still a perfect distance from Bryson City where were enjoyed shopping, whitewater rafting, hiking, and fly fishing! The cabin was well stocked, spacious, and exactly as described! We definitely hope to come back in the future!

We had a great time

We had a very nice stay. Our daughter loved the clubhouse & the internet worked the whole time we were there (which was important because my husband worked from there) I left 4 stars because the floors felt like they needed to be redone & there was no sponge in the kitchen for washing dishes. I purchased one & left it for the next people

Great cabin and PERFECT for our Family!

We came to Nantahala for a qucik vacation before school and the cabin was perfect for us. Very clean with everything we needed. It was a little cool so we built a fire one night and watched movies as it was very rainy. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the bedrooms and bathrooms had all we needed. We will look to stay here again!

Rustic cabin was fun

This cabin was what we needed. We had a family reunion at a nearby resort. We basically only slept here at night. Cons: not well-cleaned. The floor area around the toilet looked like it didn’t get cleaned between guests. It was filthy. We really hoped the bedsheets had been cleaned. It was hard to tell. Unfortunately for the owners, the floor is buckling in the living room and could be a hazard for tripping. It looks like a cabin in process, which makes sense. Some areas are decorated beautifully and other things are being “triaged”, it seems. The owners did say to contact them anytime, which we didn’t do. I feel certain they would have sent someone out to clean if we had requested it. Pros: nice kitchen table and gathering areas. Quiet. Reasonable checklist for leaving. Pretty woodsy setting. Good location for events in Andrews and other local cities. Gated mountain subdivision.

this cabin was great. Very clean, it make you feel like home. It have everything that you need.

The cabin was awesome. Very clean and cozy. It have everything including tools in case you need to do a small repair. Plenty towels a kitchen well equipped nice big TV. It is just great if you just want to hang around the cabin and kick bag and relax. The owner have easy access in case you need to talk to him. A great laid out of the property. A nice balcony and a nice tree house. A gate community make you feel secure. Close by Andrew town. Love the Hamburger in a basket, super hamburger. Defiantly we will go back. Great for the family. Love it.

Perfect location and very relaxing for a getaway!

My wife and I spent some time at Moose Tracks and absolutely loved it there. The cabin was nicely decorated and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook for a week. They were lacking for standard TV, but we enjoyed some of the many DVDs they had on hand, and also streamed some Netflix using Chromecast. You big TV watchers need to prepare yourself to disconnect! The master bed was very comfortable, and the other bedrooms offered plenty of room. We enjoyed our morning coffee out on the deck. This cabin is located in a gated subdivision that is populated by full time residents, so you will get the sounds of people trimming trees and dogs barking, but it's not so bad that it will ruin your relaxation. They stock ample firewood and have a Weber charcoal grill out back. We were close to Andrews where we could run in and shop, and there was horseback riding right at our door (literally) with the Horseshoe Creek stables. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and I personally loved the Nest thermostat. We would definitely recommend this cabin for a peaceful getaway. If you have TV withdrawals, their wi fi worked just fine for streaming. We were close to some great trails for hiking in the Nantahala gorge area, river rafting is right up the road, and you are within an hour of some great mountain biking at Tsali and Jackrabbot Mountain. You also can't beat the price of this little place; most cabins with this convenience factor are 100's a night. Great deal and we will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic house and great location!

Me and my family loved the house and the location. The only thing I would suggest is more detailed information about how to get to the house and a bit of a warning about the roads. Going up the gravel roads, up a mountain, at night and in the rain was pretty scary when we didn't know where we were going. We were perfectly fine after that first night. I would definitely suggest the house to friends and family!
