On the 16th floor of the Carousel, this unit provides amazing panoramas of both the bay and the ocean. This is one of the more desired units in Carousel with the master bedroom on the Ocean front allowing for a large ocean front balcony and private bayside balcony. We take pride in providing cooking utensils and accessories for your comfort to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. With amazing amenities, Carousel is one of the most popular getaways in Ocean City. Skate at the indoor ice rank, swim in the indoor or outdoor pool, relax in the hot tub or sauna, visit the restaurant or have a drink at the indoor and outdoor bars. Perfect Family Getaway!

We booked a family vacation to enjoy all of the local Christmas festivities! The Carousel was the perfect place to do this! The condo is perfectly located with everything we needed in walking distance (grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops etc.) The condo was equipped with all the essentials and was spacious enough space for the family! The back patio is HUGE and the view of the ocean/beach was beautiful! We even had a bonus front patio designated for us! The elevators are conveniently close by but still offered alot of privacy. The kids LOVED the ice rink in the hotel. We will definitely come back!

Run Down

It was functional, but wow does it need a serious update! Shower enclosure old/rusty/dirty, slippery throw rug at front door (no backing), small portable fans to make up for no celling fans - one was a tiny 6-inch fan/insufficient, leftover food from previous stay in cabinet - yuk! We had to wash towels and ran out of TP and paper towels, bunk room quilts just old/grungy, ocean balcony table/chairs peeling paint and really too big for the balcony. Nice view ocean and bay - but remember bayfront on the roadside and it was very loud at certain times. Carousel itself nice location, great DJ Fri night, pools/property definitely appears larger in the pics.

Nice Condo. Enjoyed that it was fully furnished. Both balconies were great for seeing sunrise and sunset. It does need some light maintenance. Cupboards that don't close, paint, and cleaning

Reminded us of the Jersey Shore

My husband has never been to OC, MD so I booked this stay. The condo is spacious and does have great views of the bay and ocean but the hotel roof of the Carousel is what you see when on the balcony, and then the ocean. The Carousel Resort Hotel and Condo is extremely packed and busy. You cannot get a chair at the pool because there are just too many people there. They do have an outdoor restaurant and bar which was decent. If you do not get your towel on the beach and set up before 6:30 AM you will be rows back and away from the Ocean. We were very disappointed that this property was not more quiet, secluded and upscale for the money we paid for the week. The property manager was very responsive to the issues we experienced. We could barely open the sliding doors due to the salt air perhaps, and the front door literally had to be “kicked/forcefully opened” each time we entered. If you love the Jersey shore, then you will love this area/property. We didn’t expect to drive 4.5 hours to get the Jersey shore experience that we get within 1 hour of driving. Lesson learned.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Family Tides! We did the boardwalk, went to the beach almost everyday, had smores, watched fireworks, had great drinks and food on the property, listened to fun music. It was a pretty magical week. The beds were comfortable, the condo had everything we needed (could use additional silverware), great cookware, plenty of fridge space. There is nothing I'd change about the stay - it was a perfect vacation! We were a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 young kids under 7) and the space was perfect for us! We hope others have as much fun as we did!

The condo was great. Very comfortable. All appliances and TV's worked and everything was very clean. Games and puzzles were available along with extra blankets and pillows.

Underwhelmed

Vacation started off with not being able to control the air conditioning. It was password protected and I had to message the manager to make adjustments. So we were very cold for most of the first night. I have never experienced this in a rental on Vrbo. Very disappointing. I know the answer is going to be “we can’t control the common areas” but…it was bike week and all the bikes were lined right up at the front door while I had to struggle to get my handicapped mother into the front door. There are condo associations that should put a stop to this. Not the owners fault but really made my stay difficult. While the place needed a good cleaning i will say the views were nice and the kitchen well equipped. Needless to say I would not return to this facility as it was a disappointing stay. With the most annoying being the fact I needed permission to adjust the temp of the unit.

Beautiful Views

Overall we were very pleased with the condo and it's location. Right on the beach with spectacular views of both the ocean and the bay. The condo had almost anything you can think of. The only thing we needed were some closures for chips (chip clips). Most of our time was spent on the beach or on one of the decks. It was wonderful and we are thankful we had lovely weather. Thank you to our host for allowing us to stay in their lovely condo.

1607 was the perfect location for our family vacation. Opening the curtains to the beach was just what we needed upon arrival. Having so much variety of activities and places to eat and explore made this so convenient and enjoyable!

End of the summer vacation

The unit was great and the location was excellent. The grandchildren enjoyed the pools and play area. The only complaint I have is when the mass exudos occurs at the end of the week, it’s impossible to secure a trolley for luggage etc., we had to make 3 trips up and down the elevator to load our car (took about an hour +). This is not the fault of the owner but future guests should be aware.

Amazing condo!!!!!!!!!

I can't say enough about how wonderful everything has been from the beginning and booking to all of the wonderful communication to the cleanliness and beauty of the condo. The staff was impeccable so nice so warming so inviting. 100 out of 10 is my rating on this rental. Will definitely definitely use this condo in the future for any other stays in Ocean City.

Relaxing long weekend

Enjoyed a long weekend with my family at this location. Our three kids stayed in the 2nd bedroom, which was fine for the length of our stay. Beautiful views from both balconies. Fantastic to be right on the beach. Very helpful to have nice laundry appliances in the condo. Kids tried ice skating for the first time! And did I mention that view?!
