About this property

Gite Champollion - close to Rocamadour and Gouffre de Padirac

Welcome to Lagrèze gîtes.
Gite Champollion is a delightful 3 bedroom gîte with an open plan kitchen/diner/lounge, set within 1.5 acres of grounds with access to a 12 x 6m swimming pool (shared between our 4 gites).
Situated between the villages of Mayrinhac-Lentour and Thégra, deep in the scenic Lot countryside.
This is our fourth season running our gites and we will do our very upmost to ensure your stay with us is as enjoyable as possible.

Champollion is the largest (100sqm) of the four gites housed in our 18th century barn, nestled in 1.5 acres of gardens.
The barn consists of the following...

Gite Champollion (3-bedroom, sleeps 6)
Gite Fenelon (2-bedroom, sleeps 5)
Gite Autoire (1-bedroom, sleeps 2)
Gite Amadour (1-bedroom, sleeps 2)

All the gîtes have been lovingly restored and have their own private areas.
The gîte includes a fully equipped kitchen, log burning stove (wood supplied), large open plan lounge/diner with a large TV (French FreeSat Channels) plus a DVD player with a small collection of DVDs.
Wifi is also available free of charge.
All bed linen, towels, beach towels and tea towels are provided.
A laundry room is available which includes a washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Cot, high chair, baby bath and changing mat are available upon request.
Table tennis is available on site.
With a private 12m x 6m swimming pool (shared between the 4 gites) in tranquil surroundings, this is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
Gite Champollion is also ideally located for guests interested in outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, canoeing etc, in addition to appealing to those who are a little less energetic just wishing to tour the nearby vineyards, medieval towns, day/evening markets and sample the fabulous local cuisine from a choice of local restaurants or you can simply enjoy the stunning Lot countryside.

For an additional charge of 30 euros, we can arrange for your gite to be cleaned midway through your stay. This would apply to lets of 2 weeks or more.

Pool open from 8am - 9:00pm. Quiet hours are from 10:30pm - 7:00am. Be respectful of other guests who are staying at Lagréze.
Large breakages and spillages must be reported as soon as possible. A charge may be taken from your holding deposit.
Property must be left in the same level of cleanliness as it was found. All household waste/recyclable items to be placed in the appropriate bins.

Gite Familial

Très agréable gite familial avec tout le confort nécessaire. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par des hôtes très sympathiques et disponibles. Le jardin arboré ainsi que la grande piscine dans ce cadre paisible sont vraiment formidables. Nous avons passé de superbes vacances dans cette belle région que nous ne connaissions pas. Nous avons passé 2 semaines très chouettes. Accueil chaleureux dans la propriété d’Andrew. Gîte rénové, aménagé avec goût et très bien équipé (pour les petits notamment). Le jardin est très grand et la piscine très appréciée :-) Beaucoup de choses à faire et à voir dans la région.

Wonderful Chalet, swimming pool, and garden

We spent two weeks in the Gite Champollion with our famile and had a great stay. The Chalet was very clean, nicely furnished and we really loved the lovely Garden, swimming pool and the peaceful sounds of the french countryside. Thanks Valerie and Andrew for a very relaxing and pleasant stay. We will definitely be back again :-)

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, prestations excellentes, logement propre.

Nous conseillons cette location. Les prestations sont très bonnes, la piscine très bien et le propriétaire très sympathique. Le logement est très bien équipé, très frais au rdc même par forte chaleur.

Accueil aux petits soins avec un panier de bienvenue, le bois dans la cheminée et les linges de lit et de toilette très confortables. Gîte très bien équipé. Très bel endroit et nombreuses visites à proximité.

Très joli et agréable gîte au calme

Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse au gîte Champollion. Il est parfaitement aménagé, avec goût, rien ne manque au confort, même pas les jeux pour enfants. Les propriétaires sont absolument charmants, discrets mais bien présents et très réactifs au moindre souci. Le gîte est parfaitement placé pour profiter des beaux couchers de soleil dans la campagne lotoise et à proximité de nombreux sites à visiter. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir!
