Lovely for a short getaway
Very clean, very comfortable, very rural. The pool was brilliant and we really appreciated being guaranteed to have it to ourselves (thanks to Muriel's careful management). A few interesting attractions nearby.

My wife and I stayed over easter with the grandparents and a 1 year old who was crawling everywhere.
My wife and I stayed over easter with the grandparents and a 1 year old who was crawling everywhere. The cottage was lovely and we got some great weather. The pool on site was loved by all and an excellent bonus after a day exploring castles in the area. If you have children it's worth a drive out to Folly Farm - adults will appreciate the indoor and outdoor activities and the opportunity to sit a get a drink while the little ones play. Back to the cottage and our hosts we super friendly and had even prepared a welcome hamper for us on arrival. A short walk out and you can see sheep, plenty of wildlife, and the very attractive stream that runs along the road to the venue. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Gwili Cottage, it's very cosy, especially in the evenings with the wood burner going. We had everything we needed and plenty of space for the four of us. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and the chutney especially delicious! It was great to have the use of pool. The walks nearby were perfect with the dog. It was so quiet at night, such a pleasure to have gorgeous night skies and no traffic noise. Would definitely visit again.

Gwili Cottage was one of the best place we have ever stayed.
Gwili Cottage was one of the best place we have ever stayed. There was everything you needed within the bungalow. It was comfortable, clean and the internet actually worked inside the property. There are fantastic walks for the dogs in the woods and along by the stream, yet very close to Carmarthen for shops and restaurants. The sole use of the swimming pool and sauna was amazing, the other bungalows have hot tubs. We would highly recommended staying with Muriel, Ian and their family who are all friendly, warm and are always at hand. Jacqui, Keith & Ryan (Kiia & Luna)

Our stay at Gwili cottage was lovely.
Our stay at Gwili cottage was lovely. The cottage was well equipped we wanted for nothing. We were left a welcome hamper containing local produce which was really appreciated as the cottage is very rural so on our arrival we were able to have refreshments without having to go out shopping. Use of the owners pool was a bonus and we made plenty of use of it as the weather was so hot. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and we hope to visit again.

We had a brilliant holiday at Gwili Cottage.
We had a brilliant holiday at Gwili Cottage. It's beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and really well equipped with everything and more that we needed for a great holiday. We were welcomed with a basket of local produce and seasonal flowers and Ian and Murial (the owners) made us feel very welcome and gave us lots of info about the area. We had some great days out. One of the nicest holiday cottages we've ever stayed in.

We had a lovely Easter break at Gwilli cottage.
We had a lovely Easter break at Gwilli cottage. The owner was very welcoming, and the property was nice and clean, and equipped with everything you’d need. We were welcomed with a hamper, including an Easter egg for our little one! Not long after arrival, Muriel came to say hello, and check all was well. She showed us around, including where the pool was. The cottage is in farmland, and we had a field of lambs very close by that we walked over to see one evening. It is well placed for the Botanic Gardens, and a few National Trust/ Cadw places of interest. We drove to the seaside up at Aberporth one day as well.

Gwili cottage is lovely.
Gwili cottage is lovely. It’s the perfect size for a family of four, very cosy and comfortable. When we arrived we found a lovely hamper of homemade goodies on the coffee table and, to our 5yr olds delight, an Easter treat for her. Muriel (the owner) is very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome and at home. The local area is very pretty and there is lots to do nearby. I wouldn’t hesitate in returning to Gwili cottage or recommending it to others. Book it, you won’t regret it!
