Old Post Office

The property was spacious with plenty of room for the 9 of us. There were some things that need attention. Creaking beds, poor lighting in the kitchen, one of the showers not working, could do with safety cords on the blinds for young children. Good to have room for 3 cars outside the property. Good location for all the places we wanted to visit.

We found the cottage comfortable, spacious, clean and well equipped.

We found the cottage comfortable, spacious, clean and well equipped. Excellent for our mixed age family gathering. Useful to have two sitting rooms enabling one to be used as a quieter room for those wanting to escape the majority of our group for a short time.

A large group of us stayed here for a long weekend at the bottom of the lake district. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the kitchen facilities were excellent allowing us to cook meals within the property on both nights. We also spent time sitting in the garden, and in the living room, where there was adequate space for us all. Grange-over-sands is ideally located for both trips to Lake Windermere (where we rented kayaks fairly cheap) and along the coast to the beaches. We also ventured down into the town, and found ourselves with a selection of bars for drinks and food- the Keg and Kitchen is recommended!

We stayed here for four nights with a group of three families. The house was perfect for us. When we arrived it was really clean and plenty of space for us all. The facilities are good, lots of bathrooms, large rooms and a table big enough to accommodate us all. It was an ideal base and we had lots of days out.I would definitely recommend and we talked about staying there again as we had a great time.
