HOLIDAY
Property and furnishings very nice. Location central for touring etc but noisy due to being next to a very busy ( 24 hours) road. Nice secure garden for children to play in but unfortunately grass had not been cut.

Rosey stay.
A clean, well equipped house. Large living room, dining area and good sized bedrooms and bathroom. High quality furniture and fittings, bed linens and towels. Open views over the fields and spacious patio area. Only downside being the busy main road and traffic noise even through the night.

Peace and tranquility in bonnie Scotland
A beautiful cottage, everything catered for, in a beautiful setting, warm, spacious, homely, absolutely nothing to complain about. All credit to the owners for the best rental we have stayed in and we have stayed in many in the uk and across the continent and this is the best. The gallows inn, excellent food and hospitality, 2 minutes walk from the door. Well worth a visit. Thank you

Lovely relaxing week!
My family and I had a lovely relaxing week staying in this beautiful cottage. The decor has been done to a high spec, and very comfortable throughout and has every amenity you'd need for your stay. It was lovely to sit in the lounge looking at the view, watching the sun go down in the evening. The village is very small but a great location for exploring the Dumfries and Galloway area. The local hotel and pub offer great food and a friendly atmosphere if you can't be bothered to cook! I would definitely recommend the cottage for a family getaway and hope to visit again in the future.
