Western gateway to the Black Hills-Snowmobiling, skiing, hunting, and fishing!

Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished cabin/home.The main/master bedroom has a queen sized bed, additional bedroom with a full sized bed and sliding glass door out to the deck to enjoy morning coffee or a cold beverage. Take time to relax in a jetted tub in the main level bathroom with a rainfall shower . You're sure to enjoy the loft with TV, recliners , office area, and table to dine on. Adjoining the loft is a bedroom that has two twin beds. The living room is furnished with couch, chairs, and TV. The kitchen is perfect for dining as it is equipped for cooking and baking. Spend the day away, enjoying nearby attractions in the Black Hills of South Dakota and Wyoming. There is a dining table that seats 6, counter in kitchen that seats 4 or a pull out table in the dining area if more seating is needed.

Wyoming getaway

This house was the perfect location for exploring a variety of destinations. We went to Devils Tower, Black Hills, Custer State Park, Wind Cave National Park (the cave was closed, though, for elevator repairs and has been closed since August 2). The house was very private, which we like, and a very nice property. So quiet day and night and the stars were great.

The cabin was exactly as described and worked very well for our group. It was close to the trails and the rest of the sites of the Black Hills bit far enough away to be so very peaceful.

2nd Stay this year!

Our 1st stay was a long weekend in July which was a quick trip but we found that the house worked perfect for us. We were able to spend a day at Custer State Park and enjoy the evening back at the house. Great trails in the nearby state park areas. We came back in October and spent a little over a week enjoying the fall color changes, seeing the wildlife in the area and it is close enough to make a day trip to Mount Rushmore and Badlands. The house had plenty of room for our family of 3 plus some. It has a fully stocked kitchen and propane grill so we had many meals at the house. It was amazing to enjoy your coffee on the porch and see the mule deer and turkeys right in the yard! The host Jenny is very responsive and makes sure everything is provided. We have loved our Wyoming trips!

Perfect Location

We had the best time at your home. We are VRBO owners and your place had everything and then some. We owe you some Krusteez and syrup. :-) The location is perfect for trips to Devil's Tower, Sturgis, Deadwood, Spearfish, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and of course, Needles Highway. Black Hills Retreat

Five of us, three adults and two teenagers, stayed six full days in this home a way from home. The three bedroom home was a perfect size for us and had everything you could possibly need. We used this as our base camp, making different itineraries for each area of the Black Hills we planned to visit. We in joyed our travels to and from each day, the scenery is GORGEOUS! We panned for gold, even found a few flakes, hiked mountain trails and saw a herd of Elk, down a back road, very close to our rental home. Had a great time, from the wildlife loop in Custer, gambling on the Craps table in Deadwood, tree top rope course / zip line in Keystone, 1880 train from Hill City and of course Crazy Horse / Mount Rushmore. Don’t forget Rapid City, the Journey Museum is FANTASTIC!!! Fort Hayes, Hwy 16 Rapid City, has the Buffalo Hunt ride, the kids loved it. Great location!

This was our first trip to WY and it was the perfect location for what we were wanting. We could sit on the porch and watch wildlife (turkeys and deer) and we were near the national forest, Devils Tower & Custer State Park which were places we wanted to go. Jenny was quick to respond and had everything ready early for us. There is room to have several people staying. Plenty of extra blankets were available, lots of towels/wash clothes and even some toiletries were available. We are looking forward to coming back again!

secluded get away

Very secluded property. We were with a 4 wheeling group. The rest of the group was at Mt Meadow camp ground, which was about 45 minutes away. We didn't realize when we booked that it was so far away. This property was very cozy. There was plenty of room for our group. Nice having a washer and dryer available. Kitchen was well supplied. We enjoyed our stay.

Spacious Getaway

Just perfect!! 3 floors, bedrooms on each floor. Beautiful porches to sit and relax. Check in was a breeze, Jennifer was the perfect host! It’s close to sightseeing in SD — Deadwood, Sturgis, Spearfish Falls and Mount Rushmore. Great food in Newcastle, WY ~ Isabella’s, Pizza Barn, and Donna’s Main Street Diner. We plan on returning !!

Peaceful!

Check in was easy and everything was even better then expected. The perfect place to get away. The host was so welcoming and helpful, even went above and beyond when our truck battery died on our last day! The location was perfect as well, all in all a wonderful place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone!

Kid Friendly

This place was so nice! It has a great deck/ outdoor area to eat as a family, enjoy the sunset and let the kids run! The property owner had her horses there and our kids got to pet and feed them and loved it! We also got dates mixed up and she was very nice and able to accomodate! We had a great time :)

Beautiful setting and lots of room to enjoy the great outdoors!

The home was situated in a beautiful setting with lots of space to explore. Our kids really enjoyed the trampoline! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the patio enjoying the nice weather and the storms that passed. The house itself was a bit cluttered and the couches were dirty and the cabinets we too full to utilize, so we had to get creative with grocery storage and space to hang out indoors. The host was wonderful and super accommodating! Overall a great place to stay and explore the Black Hills.

The home is beautiful and comfortable. Great for family vacations, great location - close to area attractions. No air conditioning in the house, we were very concerned - home got a little warm during the day but wonderfully cool at night.

We loved it!

First time I was in South Dakota/Wyoming. The property is located 30 min outside Newcastle, and about an hour, give or take, from Mount Rushmore, Lead, Deadwood, Sturgis and Rapid City. The property is surrounded by things to do for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Hiking, fishing, hunting, ATV/UTV etc…. It was so quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to get a few buddies together, family vacation, or a getaway with the wife or girlfriend. Words can’t describe the awesome time we had. Jennifer, the property manager, was very accommodating and easy to reach if I had questions. She was friendly and outgoing. The property has everything you need! Pots, pans, dishes, etc… For the cost to stay for a week, I don’t think you can beat it.

Reliving our kids childhood trips

This house was just exactly the right fit for us. It was very spacious, clean and furnished nicely. The grandkids enjoyed the loft and the kitties that were a bonus! Location was perfect, about an hour or less to most of the National parks, and fun cities. Jenny was very accommodating and got back to us quickly if we had questions.

Beautiful Views in Black Hills

My friends and I came to the Black Hills to run the Deadwood Marathon. This cabin was a great place to relax before the race and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Black Hills around us. Our stay was great, the cabin was in great order and well stocked with supplies to make our stay easy and the owner was very accommodating. Thank you for the hospitality-I would stay here again!

Excellent cabin - Just like home

This was our second stay there in the past month. We enjoyed it so much the first time, we came back again. We brought my parents this time and they had a super time. The cabin was set up perfectly for them also, they had everything they needed on the main floor to make it safe for them. The cabin is very clean and comfortable and family friendly. Had everything we needed and more. The area is beautiful - had wild turkeys by the cabin every morning and deer in the yard. The cabin is easily accessible from the highway but is still very quiet. We had a wonderful time and will be back.

This property is located right in the Black Hills and is close to lots of vacation sites. It has easy access right off US Highway 85 N. Lots of good concerts come to Deadwood, SD and it's only 30 minutes away. Many hiking and ATV trails are close by, great hunting, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, and much much more to be entertained with. Otherwise sit back and enjoy the beauty of the pines on the wrap around deck that the house offers.
