In a meander of the river Júcar, in a place called Ribera de San Benito, is the Casa del Río. An old farmhouse from the early nineteenth century carefully restored (respecting stone walls and adobe, as well as cane roofs and wooden coffered ceilings). With capacity from 9 to 14 people. House of 250 square meters plus 2000 meters of garden
It has a central distributor for two floors with two large rooms, 6 bedrooms, three bathrooms and a very large fully equipped kitchen.
Inside the house there is a patio with stone walls with a covered porch. On the outside of the house we have an old porch recovered with outdoor furniture.
One of the jewels of the house is its cave, recovered during the rehabilitation. It keeps the same temperature (14ªc) throughout the year, ideal for making wines.
During the rehabilitation we have recovered original materials from the house such as wooden beams, mud floors, etc. On the upper floor we have placed wooden flooring on the floor.
The house is surrounded by a garden of 2000 m2. We have tried to take good care of the decoration with original furniture of the house and where we have used mostly materials such as wood, terracotta, stone and esparto grass.
