About this property
★ Trendy Jericho townhouse 15min walk to Oxford City Centre★
Live like a local in Oxford and experience the area from this fantastic 3 Bedroom house in the eclectic area of Jericho. The house is stylishly designed and perfectly set up for a family or group of friends visiting Oxford. Just a 15 minute walk into the city centre
This house is the perfect space for hosting friends or a family on their trip to Oxford, whether it be for work or holiday. We are are excited to welcome guests to our stylish three bedroom house in Jericho. We believe Jericho to be Oxford's hidden gem, it is buzzing with energy and has an eclectic range of independent bars, shops, cafes and music venues all within walking distance of the house. The house is only a 15 minute walk to the city centre but there is plenty to get you started in this hip and happening area. One of our personal favourites close by is the Rickety Press - great for beers & burgers or brunch (yummy! ) and always a great atmosphere.
The Space:
On the ground floor there is an open plan living and kitchen area. The perfect space to chill out and gather around the generous dining table. The open plan area has doors that lead out onto the private patio at the back of the house which is the perfect place to hang out on a summers evening. There is a secondary dining table outside for guests to use should you wish to dine out, as well as the seating around surrounding the patio for which cushions are available. Our favourite time of day is the evening when the colourful lights around the patio can be turned on and the twinkle as you sit round with friends and family and share stories over a glass of wine.
The upper floor has two further bedrooms. The Master bedroom (king) is our favourite with a role top bath! The second bedroom is a double room which looks out onto the lovely patio area. There is also the family style bathroom complete with separate shower and bath.
Also on the ground floor there is one bedroom (double bed) which has a sink in the room and a separate WC.
The stairs up to the upper level of the house are fairly steep so may not be ideal for anyone unsteady on their feet.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole house. Once a booking is confirmed I will send you details relating to your check in. Information booklet available on arrival.
Guest Interaction:
I am on hand throughout guests stay and provide an emergency out of hour's telephone number for your peace of mind. I like to give our guests space to enjoy their stay, but I am on hand and available when needed.

The Neighbourhood:
Jericho is an historic suburb of Oxford where its streets are bounded by the Oxford Canal, Worcester College, Walton Street and Walton Well Road. The neighbourhood boasts thriving independent retailers and businesses, trendy bars, eclectic restaurants and generally has a vintage character and off beat edge which has led to it being named on the country’s “hippest spots”. Combe Road in Jericho was features in the first episode of the TV drama Inspector Morse as was the exterior of the popular Book Binders pub. Another pub well worth a visit and renowned for hosting amazing live music acts is the Jericho Tavern which is centrally located and has heart, soul and personality! If it’s cake you fancy, you must sample Barefoot, an independent café offering delicious homemade cakes and brownies and a great selection of teas. Gails bakery is also close by and offers something for the sweet and savoury palette. Jericho is conveniently located just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Oxford City or a 20 minute walk from Summertown which boasts cafes, wine bars, restaurants and local supermarkets

About the host

Oxfordshire Living provides short let accommodation as an alternative to a hotel. Ideal for all guests visiting for holiday, work or study.
Our aim is to create beautiful properties and allow guests to relax and feel part of the city. A great deal of thought has gone into every aspect of our properties, the service we deliver and the little added extras.
Vanessa is the driving force of the business. I have lived in Oxford for the last 10 years and absolutely love the city and everything it has to offer! I have tried and testing most restaurants & bars so I can give advice on where to go, whether you are here for a holiday, celebrating a birthday, working or studying!
I give my guests space to enjoy their stay but I am on hand if the need arises. I am happy to book you reservations, trips, excursions etc on your behalf throughout your stay or in advance, just send me a message with your requests.
I look forward to hosting you in Oxford, whether you are new to the city or having visited before. I am sure you will have a great time here!
