Wonderful location right on the beach amazing view from balcony. It was clean and spacious with everything we needed. Manager was very helpful and responded to my questions right away. Will stay there again!

I was not impressed with southern vacation rental company. They were very unprofessional and didn’t bother to help at all. We checked in late at night. Had someone knocking on it door early the next morning wanting to take photos of the bathroom repair. The TV in the living room didn’t work. There was a hair folded in the clean hands towel. When I talked to customer service I was told to “be quiet and let her speak” and she was interrupting me in mid sentence. I have always had a great rental with VRBO but three southern vacation rentals will never see my money again. They also said they would be locking me out of the room if they didn’t get the photo of my drivers license. I booked the room last minute and added the day off on the phone. The person never said they wold need a photo identification. The room was out dated and not really clean.

Southern rentals staff was very helpful and to resolve any issues. Beautiful view of the Gulf. Could not here our neighbors. Enjoyed our stay.

Great beach location
This is a basic condo with adequate amenities. It was very clean. If cooking, bring everything you need (seasonings, oil etc...) except for pots and pans. Be sure to bring your own coffee filters as well as dish soap as only a small amount is provided. Bring TP as only one roll in each bathroom is provided. Beds were comfortable with soft sheets and there were ample towels in the bathroom. Bring your own pillows as the ones on the beds are flat. Excellent water pressure for a shower after a day on the sand and in the water. The sofa was comfortable but the two additional chairs in the living room were very hard. The management company was very prompt when we had questions and when the WiFi suddenly didn't work. Please note that there is only one parking space per condo. My friend and I enjoyed our stay overall and spent most of our time on the beach rather than in the condo.

Enjoyed our stay! Condo was very clean and beds and pillows were comfortable. Great balcony view of the ocean. Pool was also nice. Kitchen is small, but well equipped. Recommend!

Wonderful Stay!
The condo was clean and neat. The balcony gave us a beautiful view of the Gulf. Given that this is on the 8th floor, I am glad to say that the elevator was very fast and we rarely had to wait at all. My only suggestion would be to furnish a hair dryer.

The property manager is not doing a good job checking this property. The door was off the hinges in the bedroom and would not close. Apparently it had been this way for awhile because it was torn up where people had tried to close it. No cover on the electrical outlet which is very dangerous if there are little ones around. There was no lock on the back sliding door. Will not stay at this property again.

The condo was really nice, bed in master was a little hard. My kids couldn’t swim in the pool, didn’t know it was closed when we booked and had to walk between condos to get to the beach because beach access was closed. Elevator smelled HORRIBLE when we used it.

Other than that there was no CLEAR and BLUNT approach on the construction or that the pool was down. This should be up fron listed for the property. Thats was horrible.

We booked this condo last minute because our previous plans got cancelled and it did not disappoint. It felt like home away from home. Very clean and welcoming.

Disappointed the Pool was closed
The Condo was in great shape accept for the Pots/Pans were quite old and chipped/scratched and the stove didn't work properly. We are also very sad to learn the pool was closed for the duration of our stay. Nothing on the listing mentioned this and with a small child, it was a big dissappointment.

During the COVID-19 shut down I received numerous emails from the rental company of how much extra cleaning they were going to do. Unfortunately this was completely false! The condo was not clean at all and whoever’s phone number I had was unresponsive. I would not recommend using this rental company.

Honeymoon Stay
We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Breeze East #802. It is dated and needs some work (light switch to laundry room has a short) and light burned out over the sink. But all in all great view and nice staff. We had a Perdido Mouse get into our unit. It happens but the management staff were on top of it. Clean beach and great views. If the unit is updated a bit (ceramic floors needed to be replaced in a spot or two, couch is not comfortable) but we were not in our unit too much to sit on it. But a great location for the price.

Rodents in unit!!!
Woke up the first morning to a banana that the side and most of the inside had been eaten!! Also a package of tortillas. Contacted the rental agency and they said someone would be out to check on it. I had taken a plastic tub so put all the food in it except an onion. Bought some bleach spray and sprayed all of the counters. Pest control came and put out traps but still the next morning the onion had a bite out of it. Sprayed counters again. Contacted rental agency again and the manager came and basically told us that all of the buildings in the area were infested and to live with it!! We never saw the creature but believe it to be a rat because of the way the food was eaten. No one should have to deal with things like this on vacation. Will never rent through that agency again and will have to think about whether to use VRBO again. Disappointed and disgusted :-(

Good view
The view alone deserves 5 stars, however, the refrigerator looked decent, but the freezer door was damaged and very difficult to open, so not useful at all. The tub in one of the bathrooms didn’t drain well (10 minutes after finishing showering). The rod on the curtains in the living room is too thick where it’s almost impossible to close them or open them. The question about the manager should not be asked because there was no manager. We didn’t want to bother reaching out to anyone because we were there to enjoy our time off not deal with malfunctions in the hotel. If these things were to be fixed and you’d allow check in time to be earlier than 4pm, I’d give it 5 stars.

My wife and I have been vacationing in Florida every summer since 2009 -- some years going down for fall and spring break, making it 2-3 times a year. After all of the owner and VRBO fees, this was by far the most we have ever paid for a 2 bedroom condo and we have stayed in several places along the Panhandle as well as down in the St. Pete and St. Augustine areas, but mainly the Panhandle. We were very disappointed in this condo, so much so that we left 2 days early. The one thing expected in a vacation rental is comfort--a comfortable bed is not a luxury, but an expectation. The bed in the master bedroom was horrible because it was lumpy, saggy, and we could feel the springs through the top of the mattress. Every time we rolled over we could feel them . Not once did either my wife or I wake up fewer than 5 times, when we eventually were able to fall asleep. The pillows were also not much more than wadded up shirts inside a pillow case. On Tuesday morning I contacted Southern Rentals and they were very prompt to replace the pillows, but said they were waiting on the owner about the mattress. I never heard back from them so on Thursday morning we decided to call it quits and return home. In addition, the couch sagged heavily towards the middle. Not having a good night's sleep makes everything else seem worse, including the 2 holes in the wall of the master bath, the paper peeling from the cabinets, and the very small kitchen (2 people cannot move inside of it). The master bath vanity is tiny and barely large enough for one person, let alone 2. The pool is also much smaller than we imagined with a max load of 15 people at once. The good about the unit was the amazing view, it was clean, very good water pressure, and we didn't have to wait for an elevator more than 1 minute. Ike's Beach Service was also great and Addie Belle (beach attendant) was great by checking on everyone throughout the day. Unfortunately, overall our experience here was terrible. We were not impressed with this condo. The exorbitant fees they are charging for the condo compared to what you get in the small size of the kitchen and pool is ridiculous. The horribly uncomfortable bed made our stay very unenjoyable, and pretty much ruined the vacation we had looked forward to all year. We definitely will not be back to this unit.

Great unit on Perdido Key
We visited in April 2019 and enjoyed unit 802. The building was small compared to others nearby, which meant no hassle finding a parking spot or place to sit on the beach. The good: great location on the gulf; clean unit; amazing views; spacious bedrooms and balcony; couple minor issues were quickly resolved by Southern Rentals; there were a couple shopping and restaurant/ice cream options were within walking distance, many more within a 5-10 minute drive. The bad: furnishings in kitchen were adequate but on the sparse side; kitchen knives were dull; no coffee filters; pool was small/average size, heater broken; no beach chairs furnished and expensive to rent; elevator got stuck once and had to climb 8 flights of stairs; molding around front door was cracked, apparently from wind slamming it shut. Overall the negatives were annoyances that could be dealt with but wanted to tell about our experience and point out where improvements could be made. We did enjoy our stay and would choose this unit again if we return to Perdido Key.
