My elderly parents and aunt/uncle stayed here while the rest of our family camped in Newaygo for a family reunion. Was the perfect way for them to watch us tube by and join us at the park just a short drive away. House was spotless and ideal!!
The weekend escape was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was clean and well-stocked. We saw eagles and salmon; ejoyed the campfire and peace and quiet. This was our first time here, and we will definitely come back
This property was perfect for a getaway from the everyday stress. The outdoor area had plenty of space to enjoy the serenity of the river. The inside was comfortable and provided ample space. The home is well equipped with everything you could need. Enjoyed our stay and will be back!
This rental was in a good location. We were even able to stop by and grab a snack while on our kayaking trip. The house was small with only one bedroom on the main floor. It met all of our needs. Just don't expect any extras.

Gorgeous property and much larger and more open than we anticipated! It was right on the river which made it a great location for an afternoon tubing trip. My only minor complaint was that we did not get the entry code until less than an hour before check in, while already headed north, and service there was spotty so I was unable to access my email on my mobile phone. Fortunately I had written down the wifi login and was able to get logged in at the cottage and access my email messages, but it would have been nice to do so before leaving.

House by the river
We got to the site at 0200. No luck finding the owner since 1030 am. Got wrong key code, so had to stay in a motel. Found right house but wrong key code. Went to breakfast, front door was open and key was available upon return. Master bed is queen size but sheets are king size. No provision made for handicapped or elderly persons, for bath tub or handrail for stairs to basement.
We have been coming up here for the better part of 10 years, even before the present owner. It is our favorite place in Newaygo because it is right on the river and the house is cute, well stocked, and just relaxing. We always sit out at the fire by the river and just escape from our hectic life styles. We turned the TV on once just to watch a college football game, but only parts of it. We have friends that live close by so having them over to enjoy food, a fire, a relaxation was great. WE love going to Nelson's Apple Farm to get the delicious Michigan apples-they actually taste like apples should taste. Thanks again Ryan!
Very clean property right on the river. Lots of places to sit and sleep. Comfortable beds and linens. Fishing right off the dock. We'll-appointed kitchen.
Amazing, clean house! The view was amazing and perfect as a half way point of our Saturday river float. We had plenty of supplies and internet was fast. Felt very homey and welcoming. Would 100% stay again! Thank you so much for the experience.
Can not wait to go back!! Great location, beautiful home and property. The whole family had a great time, we were able to keep our 16, 13 and 4 year old happy, entertained and comfortable (no small feat) It was just the right amount of outdoor fun and relaxation!
We stayed at Logan's run for a fishing trip. It's close to the dam and where the charter boats pick up, so was perfect for this. The house is in great shape and was clean. Would stay here again for sure.
Our stay was wonderful. The cabin was clean, well organized, and provided all necessary supplies. Full disclosure of video surveillance would be helpful, it caught us off guard. Internet may have been a bit spotty. More lighting on the pathway down to the river would be great and a larger fire pit with even ground surroundings so no one trips. We used Wisner Rents Canoes and they took very good care of us! We’ll definitely stay again!
