About this property
Pebbles Cottage - One Bedroom House, Sleeps 2
Looking for a coastal retreat in the centre of Southwold? Pebbles Cottage ticks all the boxes! This former fisherman’s pad is perfect for a couple planning a holiday in Suffolk with the beach and town’s amenities close at hand.
This beautiful traditional fisherman’s cottage is on the High Street… close to the town’s delightful shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants and a short walk to the beach. This cosy cottage can accommodate four guests with one double bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. Beautifully decorated with a nautical style with fresh blues and whites creating a light and welcoming interior. The Galley kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to conjure up a culinary delight but the main feature has to be the Aga which also provides the heating for Pebbles Cottage. The property is just a stone’s throw from the beach and the picturesque pastel beach huts. Stroll along the upper promenade, beautiful at any time of year. The town’s individual shops, cafes, delis and restaurants are all on hand too - perfect for a coffee and cake while indulging in a little retail therapy. A visit to Southwold wouldn’t be complete without heading off to the pier, dating back to the 1900’s, it was originally built as a landing point for the steamships which use to stop off at the town. Don’t forget to visit the lighthouse - this distinctive landmark at the centre of the town has been guiding vessels into the historical harbour since the late 1800’s.
